We stayed in McCall for a week and ate at the Anchor restaurant almost everyday. This place has a great selection of plates and all of them are delicious. This place makes it easy to order a plate, some drinks and watch the boats go by. Definitely recommended after a day on the lake!!

Walking in this restaurant smelled very clean. The patio was nice with a great view and access to go walk out to the lake. We ordered the chicken salad and the flat iron steak. I was not overly impressed with the salad for the price the lettuce had not been picked through and chicken tasted/seemed to be microwaved. However, the steak was prepared perfectly. The flavor of the vegetables and crab sauce that accompanied it was amazing.

If u like a rare steak this is the place to go. I like mine rare but this one bit me back. After sending it back 2 times it was perfect & delicious. Tues night is steak night special. 5 adults at the table all satisfied w/there meals. Service was excellent.

The most underrated place in McCall. It’s tricky to find because it’s below the Yacht Club, but definitely worth your time when you visit. It’s easily some of the best food in town and the prices are reasonable. Love their creative takes on some of their dishes but if you’re also feeling less adventurous, tacos and fish n chips are available. Our waitress (wish I remembered her name!!!) was incredibly impressive. They were slammed and it appeared she was the only head staff there and she was crushing it. Attentive and giving every table the love they deserve but was quick and efficient. Truly some of the best serving skills I’ve seen! She was brunette, maybe mid 30s?? If this sounds familiar give her a raise ASAP!!! Can’t wait to come back.

The service was very slow. There was only two waitresses running the whole place. The waitress was at least nice.The food for the price point was terrible. My husband had the huckleberry salmon. The presentation was poor and the rice was undercooked. The only thing I liked was the calamari fries. Everything else, Expensive and tasteless.

Great local bar! Clean environment, friendly staff. Beautiful view of Payette lake, bar overlooks the lake. I had a Long Island iced tea, and it was very generous on the liquor. I could only get through one fourth of the drink before it got to my head. My friend got an old fashioned and it was spot on. Definitely going again the next time I am in town.

I wish I had more good things to say about this establishment than that the view of the lake is spectacular and the cocktails were well done. If that’s all you have there, you will probably enjoy the experience. To be fair, we didn’t try the appetizers or bistro plates so cannot comment. The entrees were really bad. It was clear that the food was not freshly cooked–dry, stale, canned just begins to describe it. The pairing of (incredibly salty) sea beans with lamb shanks just doesn’t make any sense but without getting too Gordon Ramsay, Please Mr or Ms Restaurant Manager, take charge of your kitchen staff before you become one more resort restaurant cliche.

We read some bad reviews about this place but still decided to go anyway. I think things have changed drastically from previous reviewers. We were met by a very pleasant hostess that seated us at a super view table without having a reservation. The waitress was attentive and gave great service. Our food was superbly prepared. The Chicken moni moni and pork tenderloins were very well prepared. The wine carafe was made from an ice mold with real flowers incorporated into it. Very cool. When leaving, we were thanked for coming by staff that did not even serve us. Great service. Highly recommended.

Was a little hesitant to try because of their different menu. However ended up being a terrific experience. The food and drinks were phenomenal. The service was terrific. She was knowledgeable and friendly, atmosphere out on the deck was beautiful. Definitely will be going back and will recommend to all of our family and friends.
