They used to be a very good place to eat, good food and good service, but lately I have noticed a clear decline in quality- that being, they have a tendency to repeatedly screw up my order to a point where I can’t eat it due to allergies. I’m a very busy person, I am balancing a full time job + college and often do not have time to return to the restaurant for a remake. I have wasted a significant amount of money eating here from all the mistake orders and I’m not going to waste any more if it keeps up.

We love coming here! The fried flour tacos are HUGE! The chips and salsa are unique because they use flour tortillas and I prefer those! The salsa is spot on and has the right zip! My husband always orders a burrito and no matter what meat he chooses, they are huge! You order at a counter, they bring your food out to you when it’s ready, which is usually pretty quick! The atmosphere is pretty basic, all tables and chairs, no frills or ambiance but that’s not necessary as the food is why people come! The walls are decorated with the restaurant’s family photos over the years and its legacy as an icon of great Mexican food in our community at “The Anchor Inn”.

It was a great value for the price. I had two pork tacos on corn tortillas with rice and beans and couldn’t eat it all. The pork was super tender and flavorful but the taco completely fell apart and I had to eat it with a fork. Husband had barbacoa tacos (2) on flour tortillas with rice and beans and also couldn’t finish it all. Our kiddo had a quesadilla, fruit cup with drink and ate every bite. Overall it was a good meal.

After coming here for picking up DoorDash orders, we decided to order for ourselves. After receiving our food, we were surprised by the amount of food for the price we paid. Not disappointed one bit. And the food was amazing to boot, too. We were greatly stuffed and can’t wait to come back to try their other options.

Don’t order a large side of Guacamole. It’s $7. lol Other than that surprise, the tacos are huge, not over seasoned, and 2 is more than enough to fill someone up.

The tacos are great here.(Recommend) The fountain drinks need co2. Extremely flat soda. Need fixing asap. They sell soda a glass bottle (recommend). Salsa could have been better. Rice is a little off. Need a couple more kid food options. Burrito needs fresh lettuce, not the heart of the head of lettuce to be used. The beans inside of the burrito need to be drained. Does not look appealing when it has water juice coming out of it. The flooring needs to be replaced and installed properly.Floor needs floor leveler to be used. This will make the flooring not wear out on the edges.

Burritos here are huge! Chips were super unique: big, crispy, flakey. We got here right near close but were treated really nice still and served great food! Definitely will stop again next time passing through!
