The mac and cheese balls and mac and cheese burger were good. I had to send wings back because they had plastic in them. I just asked them to remake the wings. They compensated me with free mac and cheese balls, both of which I had to eat at home because it took so long for them to remake them. And they had some pretty intrusive flies in their. The gentleman that served us was nice. The wait time and the reminders about ordering food and getting drinks were subpar. Wasn’t terrible, but the constant “issues” left a bad taste, literally, in my mouth.

Food took forever and judging by the temp it was because the Waitress forgot it. We had to keep finding her because she wouldn’t check on us. Our drinks were empty and we had to take them inside for a refill. The place was dead but there were dirty tables everywhere. I don’t know who should have been picking up the dishes. The food was good but we won’t be going back.

Have dined both take-out and in person. Overall, my husband and I like the food quite a bit! I’ve had the cauliflower wings both times and my husband gets traditional. We’ve also tried the mozzarella and mac and cheese bites. The ranch and marinara is delicious. The staff was friendly on both visits so far (pick up and in person). The restaurant is clean as well. We’ll be back!

Veronica was our server for dinner and she was very attentive and kind to us. I usually go to wing it, twin peaks, or wayne’s for my wing craving, but Anchor bar has the best wings. There is some much going on with the wings, they way they cook it, the variety of wing sauces, the crispy ends of the wings, and each bite was so flavorful. The wings paired beautifully with my michelada with the pickled green beans, olives, and chicken on a stick with jalapeno. Skip the lines at NIOSA, get your chicken on a stick with your michelada! Visiting new restaurants can be discouraging and sometimes we take a lost due to bad service and food, but this place was a total WIN. In case you are tight with your budget, check out their happy hour and $1 wings. Thank you for taking care of us and we will be there next Thursday.

Always a great experience here. We love to sit outside when the weather permits and the staff is always friendly and professional. The wings here can’t be beat and the sauce choices are so hard to pick from because they are all delicious! My favorite is the Honey Habanero. Sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar are also my favorites. I am never disappointed with this place no matter the day or time.

This location used to be good. Boneless wings were cold, tiny, crunchy and hard. When you order 16 of them, you are given one small ranch. If you ask for extra ranch it’s now $0.60 extra. Kids pizza was soggy, cold and greasy. I’ve honestly had better boneless wings from Chilli’s, Zaxby’s, Slim Chickens, or if even eat tenders from Chicken Express or Bush’s any day compared to what I’ve been served the last two times I’ve been back here. Server dropped off the food and never came back throughout the meal. We had to ask the hostess to go find her in the back. It took about 10 minutes for her to finally come out to refill our drinks, get a to go box and put check as we were finished eating, without drinks, and ready to leave at this point.

For a place that claims to have “invented” the buffalo wing, theirs are pretty meh. Service is hit or miss, I’ve definitely had food served to me here that was still frozen. When it’s all prepared properly it’s good. Decent beer list, nothing really special though. Last couple of times I was there the prices were really good, I will say.

Had an office party here. The reviews were great, so we decided to try it out. The frozen drinks were all returned(4). I ordered the Nashville “hot” chicken, not sure what definition of hot they were going by but wasn’t hot at all. My gf ordered buffalo chicken nachos and went on a 30 min search for the chicken. Everything was just mediocre.

Unfortunately, this was my first time at anchor bar, and I was disappointed. I went with a friend who ordered the loaded mac & cheese and I ordered a midsize order of bone in wings. The mac & cheese was basically pasta noodles with cheese sprinkled on top and the added bacon, jalapeños, peppers, etc. Imagine a salad but noodles instead with everything added on top instead of being mixed in. The chips and queso were good. Probably the best thing on the table. The waitress refilled my tea with water and the wings that are so-called famous were the worst wings I’ve ever had. They were very very dry, and I actually sent them back and did not re-order. On a positive note the food was brought to the table in a reasonable amount of time and they are not overpriced. They have a nice patio if you want to sit outside. Unfortunately, my experience here will be my only experience, and I will return to BWW or pluckers for wings.
