The hostesses were super helpful, very welcoming and pointed us to the choice of our table. Ambience was perfect for a sports bar. They have a decent number of vegetarian options considering this place is known for its wings. Nevertheless, the wings were too crispy for my husband and the sauce choices were excellent. I had cauliflower bites and they were perfect. Onion rings were crispy. Labbat Blue light beer went really well with the wings and cauliflower bites. I’d recommend anyone in the area to visit this bar as they do share a good history on creation of Buffalo wings creation.

A nice sports bar type restaurant with plenty of seating, good food, great service, a bar, and even some slot machines. The original Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY invented the buffalo wing, and they offer a lot of tasty varieties. However, they have an extensive menu for everyone and the spot is worth checking out.

First time here, and everything was very tasty. The cheese curds tasted just like tiny mozzarella sticks, and the chicken wings were extremely fresh and a good size. The bacon pizza was good with their signature sauce, plus the loaded tater tots are a must try. Frozen drinks were decent. Friendly atmosphere.

This was the first time my wife and I went here we figured it would be a great place for wings but the wings are average I had the honey bourbon, and my wife had the mild and as I said they’re just average. The cheese curds were decent a little on the greasy side.

I came here after watching a special on Buffalo Wings that was on the History Channel’s show The Food that Built America. I was not disappointed, the Wings were awesome. I went with the Traditional Wings and Original Sauce. They were fresh and very flavorful. I also had the Weck, it was OK. The Beef was kind of dry, but the Horse Radish and Au Jus helped. If your looking for good Wings check them out. They also have plenty of Beers on tap and alot of TVs. So it’s probably a decent spot watch a game.

Stopped here for lunch, ordered a white pizza and a beef on weck sandwich. The pizza was amazing, loved the crust. The pizza could use a light sprinkle of coarse sea salt though. The beef on weck sandwich was very good and the fries were hot, crispy and flavorful. Wait staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I definitely recommend trying the Anchor Bar.

I was blown away by the wings. I got the traditional w a bourbon honey. Excellent wings! The fries were so good. I got queso on the side to dip & it was so good. I had a Miami Vice & the drink was so good. The pizza logs were fantastic. Great service! We went around dinner time. This is kid friendly. Such a great experience!
