Coming from an Afghan-American background, I have been to many restaurants, and this place is one of the most delicious restaurants I have been to in a while. I enjoyed a buffet with food that did not contain much oil, as compared to other afghan or middle eastern meals I’ve had in the past. The staff is extremely polite, seems to be family-owned, and the hospitality here, along with the food hygiene is off the charts. Their buffet is high quality and fresh, and their price is reasonable. Although the ambiance and location, may not be the most preferable to some, I can tell you the food quality and service is the best of the best. This would be the spot to enjoy with family, events, or even catering food. This is definitely my go-to spot and am glad to have found this gem.

Buffet was not fresh. Kofta was very dry and no sauce at all. Spinach wasn’t cooked fully. Also, Chicken Kabab was dry. Kabuli Palaw was kinda okay and seemed a little bit fresh along with Manto.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Anar Persian Kitchen in West Sacramento and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. But the star of the show was definitely the food – specifically, the bolani. It was easily one of the most delicious dishes I’ve had in a long time.
