Quiet and contemporary Mexican ambiance. The food is OK, a little bland to my taste. I had a cucumber margarita, I’ve had better. Its very much oriented to American palate. Im Mexican and very picky with my Mexican food. I had to add salt to everything.

Normally I wouldn’t give this low of a review, since the food and atmosphere are both great. However, the service was terrible at our last visit. We were sat almost immediately on a Friday night. We got our drinks and chips and salsa fairly quickly, and then it went downhill. We never received our appetizer, and then never received the actual food we ordered either. We were there for an hour and a half with two kids and didn’t get any food. We left without paying for our drinks(one of which looked like it had spit in it) and went next door to Blue 22 where we were served immediately.

Does not disappoint:) Food was great! Portions were generous! Our server Edith was excellent and staff very friendly. Definitely will return:)

I loved my experience at Anamia’s Tex Mex!! My friend and I went there for lunch on a Sunday. There was no wait at 1 pm, BUT it was full. The ambiance was beautiful, relaxing, very family friendly. Also, a great place for a celebration.

This is absolutely one of my favorite Mexican spots in North Texas! This food has been fantastic for years and I highly recommend it. You definitely want to have them do the table side guacamole. Absolutely awesome.

The food was good. The server was friendly. The service was a little slow and I think it’s because the kitchen is so busy between the dinners in the restaurant plus all the to go orders. There were so many to go orders. So whether that’s good or bad depends on your perspective. If you like to have time to have a drink, eat some chips and salsa (we also ordered brisket queso which came out quickly) and talk then the pace of service will be fine. If you are really hungry or need to get someplace after, you will probably find it too slow. Brisket tacos here are the best. Cheese and onion enchiladas are good. Fajitas are good.

Worst service I have had in a quite some time. We were at the restaurant for over and hour and a half… and most of that was waiting for our food. Waitress came by our table a total of 5 times in that time period which includes bringing the check. Food was cold when it got to our table and they forgot my buddies entree for about 15 minutes until I asked them they went and got it. Saw a couple other customers get up and chew out the manager and he apologized to them. However I try to be patient and not chew people out but I was very disappointed that they did t even apologize. By far the worst service I have had in years. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else..

Went for lunch with my sister and my husband. The restaurant offers a standard Tex-Mex menu in a bright and airy environment. There is enough space between tables so that everyone’s private conversation is indeed private. Food was fresh and tasty and service was excellent. The basket of chips for our table was served with individual bowls of salsa. The torilla chips arrived at the table nice and warm, crisp, and not greasy. My fish tacos were excellent, though the grilled lime was hard to squeeze over the tacos. My sister really enjoyed her beef tacos and my husband’s shredded pork tamales, while not exceptional, were very good. Personally, I thought that the margaritas were a bit on the weak side. The sopapillas we ordered for dessert arrived warm with individual small pitchers of honey. They were excellent.

So so interior, sparsely appointed. Not a large restaurant. Food was good and reasonably priced. It took almost an hour to get our food after ordering. Must have been an issue in the kitchen as they weren’t that busy and several other tables seemed to wait a long time for there orders as well. In total we were there 2 hours and 45 minutes with most of that time spent waiting on our food and drinks.

My brother & wife introduced us to Anamia’s for the first time recently. Everything was very tasteful and perfectly prepared. I had a tostada that was perfectly crisp with amazing flavor. I sampled my wife’s taco and enchilada with the same response. We have sampled many “Tex-Mex” restaurants since moving away from Texas and have always found something off in flavor or preparation, but not here. The quacamole preparation at our table was a little stunning. I wasn’t expecting that. All this was in a very casual, friendly, comfortable, moderately upscale atmosphere that felt like home. I recommend Anamia’s to anyone looking for a quality difference in Tex-Mex food.
