A new Indian Indian restaurant in the Memphis suburb area – where the dining hall is big and clean. The dine in facility is best here as compared to other Indian places ( all of them are dingy, and not great). It was weekend night when we visited, and the place was quite packed. The service was decent, nothing extraordinary. The restaurant has decent menu, and the food is mostly Andhra style. We started with Irani chai. The hot tea ( with loads of milk and sugar) was fine. We ordered the majestic chicken as appetizer. In the main course we got a masala dosa and a chicken fried rice. The majestic chicken was not much spicy. The crunchy fried chicken pieces were coated/ tossed in yogurt based sauce. The chicken fried rice was quite big in portion size. The smell of eggs were overpowering, however crunchy, and spicy fried chickens were delightful. The fried rice was more like a home made one than a typical indo- Chinese restaurant made version. The dosa was decent. It was served with creamy peanut chutney, tomato chutney and sambar. The tomato chutney and the sambar was quite spicy. Overall, the food was fresh and served hot. Although the variation in menu was much limited.

10 out of 5 for atleast trying to make a standard and contemporary atmosphere based Indian restaurant in Memphis. The pricing is fair as compared to older establishments like Bombay House and Overpriced Hyderabad Biryani.

Had an amazing Hyderabad chicken dum biryani today at Amrutha vilas. This restaurant has the authentic South Indian dishes. I recommend this place for all the Indian food lovers and menu is budget friendly.

Nice, new, Indian restaurant in Cville. Owner was awesome at being patient with our large, rowdy group. We went with our family and all ordered more than we should have. We overwhelmed the kitchen but each dish was well prepared and fresh. Taste was off the charts. We will be back. Majestic Chicken was my absolute favorite and was so tasty. % will go and recommend you go too! My only regret was I didn’t take (or I think I accidentally deleted) photos of all the wonderful food we tried. I did post my birianni.

Another Indian restaurant. Nothing fancy but simple. Food is tasty but as of day of dinner they did not have liquor license. I hope they do have now. Service was quick. Really like the on the table POS. I wish them the very best. I hope they will keep up their standards and not let place go down like other Indian restaurants usually do.
