Indoor seating only but was beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The tacos were ok, way too much onion and cilantro and the meat was good but a little dry, cheese dip was fantastic and could have that for a meal in itself! Also had a Jamaican Fresca that was soooo flavorful. Great place for lunch, plenty of parking and kid friendly.

The interior is bold and vibrant which and is paired with authentic music, loved that. No one greeted us when we walked in and we just stood there for a couple minutes before we were told to order at the other end. Prepare to spend $30-50 if you’re getting a couple bowls, a side and some drinks. The portions are huge and one bowl could feed a family. I liked the fresh flavor of the food but the seasoning was really missing, for the amount of money you spend you could get something amazing at another Mexican restaurant at the mall. I think this is a great place, just needs some fine tuning. Also noticed the ice bin was open the entire time we were ordering, not following food safety to the fullest unfortunately.

There is not a negative thing I could find about this place. The food was amazing, mangonada was so refreshing & the elote was to die for. If I wasn’t full I would honestly go back right now. The atmosphere was icing on the cake and if I wasn’t already planning on taking the food somewhere else, it would’ve been a very cute place to eat.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Nice authentic flavor. Such a great place to go for quick food when you don’t wanna go sit down somewhere.

The Elote sold me on this place. Totally gives me nostalgia of being back home in SoCal. Birria tacos are bomb, the burritos are massive, & the horchata is perfect. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Erie.

The portion sizes were substantial, and the taste was good, so there’s that. But the atmosphere was kind of cold. I’d expect they could add some life to this place to make it feel more welcoming.

This place only recently opened and it immediately has jumped to my favorite local spot for authentic SoCal mexican food. We ordered 5 different tacos and every one of them was better than the last. Both the elote’s and esquite are an outstanding side and a must have with every meal ordered. Not to mention, we started with a side of their quac and chips and it too could’ve stole the show. Oh and the staff was super friendly and extremely fast with their service. A perfect 10/10 all around from me. If you’re looking for a delicious and yet affordable place to eat, then Amigo Taqueria & Botanas is your place!

Absolutely the best!! We got the shrimp and biria tacos and both were amazing. The drinks are fresh and tasty. The dining room is bright and welcoming. The corn, ohhh the corn. My husband was based in San Diego and is in heaven right now. We will be back. Often.

Five stars isn’t enough. Authentic Mexican food that SINGS. I got the birria and asada tacos and both were amazing. The mangonada is wonderful. I’d eat here every day if I could.

We tried the chicken, steak and chorizo tacos. They are assembled with two streamed corn tacos, meat, generous amount of cilantro and chopped white onions. There is a side of sauted onions, jalapeno pepper and a red sauce. We also had the guacamole and chips that was very good. I sampled the pina drink which was a refreshing pineapple.
