We were visiting the area and we found this gem!!! Woao this is a great Mexican restaurant, love their flavors. The staff is super friendly and attentive, you order your food and then wait and they bring it to the table and despite not having waiters, they are super attentive and are checking in on you often. The food was done quickly and with great flavors. We tried the quesabirria and birria tacos and they were great! I honestly preferred the Birria tacos. I saw other dishes from other people who were there and they look amazing!!! It’s a small restaurant so tables are limited but worth it. While we were there we noticed a lot of to-go orders and constant clients. This has become a must for me next time I’m in the area!! I Highly Recommend it

This is one of those amazing food places where nothing is fancy, and everything is done well. I always intend to try more than their breakfast, but their latest addition of breakfast tacos and their amazing breakfast burritos (with giant chunks of the most delicious potato) just get me every time. The seating area is kept immaculate, and their staff is amazing. This is the kinda place you work into your routine because it’s that great combination of well priced, well made, and quick. Love it.

I love the local authentic Mexican restaurant. I’ll have to try the birria tacos because I’ve had that dish elsewhere. My chorizo tacos were great, but the complimentary chips and salsa were lacking. Chips were stale, and the salsa didn’t even have a little diced onion or cilantro. Kinda disappointed.

Beware of the chancla!!! I love the fun wallpaper- if you know, you know – no me mames, guey! 🙂 We stopped here on a whim and it looked good. SO glad we did! My girls loved the kids quesadillas with rice, and I got pozole (which is sooo hard to find on a weeknight, or just in general). The hubby got tacos which were verrrry tasty. Super good, and great customer service! Def will be back!

My experience has been anytime there’s a smaller Mexican restaurant it’s probably pretty good. This is no exception! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a warm, genuine smile from the staff. They are very friendly. It has a quaint, authentic feel. My son prides himself as a Mexican cuisine foodie of sorts. He had 3 tacos – shrimp, al pastor, and carne asada. He said they were definitely in the top three with the shrimp being the best he’s had. Pretty impressive! I had the chicken enchiladas. Finally, I found a place that seasons the chicken in this dish. While the Salsa Verde wasn’t the spiciest I’ve had, the overall dish was very flavorful. The beans were actually re-fried and not a puree mess. The chips were fresh and the avocado salsa had the perfect spice. This was an overall successful trip to this local spot in Kannapolis.

(*edited to add: I ordered about an hour before closing, take into consideration.) I’m gon cry lol. I moved out here from Texas and I’ve been suffering, CLT metro has no good food! I ordered the Birria Quesadilla and it was PERFECT. (I would love if y’all offered lamb birria, but it’s chefs kiss, regardless.) I also ordered a Carne Asada taco and it was a little salty for me, but still extremely flavorful. And I ordered the elote, corn was cooked perfectly. I’m used to more chile powder and hot sauce, but I’m honestly more than satisfied. Y’all have a new regularrr!
