Service was great but I was not a fan of the food unfortunately. I got the taco bowl, and the fried tortilla seemed old and reheated. The filling of the bowl including the meat just didn’t taste fresh. I felt like it was worse quality than taco bell for a higher price. But, my friend that I went with loved it and she got a few tacos.

Perfect find after a long day on the motorcycle! Beer was ice cold and the food was delicious. Chips and salsa were ok, but the chimichanga with grilled steak was amazing. The staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. I will be back.

Dominic was our waiter tonight and his customer service was awful. The food quality was not as good as other Amigo restaurants we have been to. I would definitely recommend Johnson City location. We waited over 10 minutes for our drink order be to be taken by someone who wasn’t even our waiter but she saw us waiting for awhile and wanted to make sure to make contact with us. Our waiter didn’t come get our food order after we sat for 25 minutes after sitting down. At least the chips and salsa was good. We barely touched our food once it did arrived due to poor quality, waiter never cared to even ask if it was okay but wanted to argue the drink he refilled was Diet Coke when it was regular coke. I understand we all have bad days but to let it effect your customer service that bad and effect that badly, he should have went home. Worst experience as of yet at an Amigos location.

Sadly, I will not be returing to this Amigos. I am not sure what has changed but something is definitely wrong and it feels like more than just an off night. . My husband and I have been here several times and have left happy. Tonight I had significant issues with my order and some added charges which I spoke to the manager about. I found her to be dismissive and rude. I am very forgiving and do not often complain however, given this experience I would strongly suggest that you go elsewhere. I can no longer recommend this establishment.

I have been here many times and never had an issue but based off my experience tonight I won’t be back. My husband and I went out for drinks and we’re asked for our ID three times in less than 5 minutes by 3 different people. Then waited a few more minutes and after still not receiving our drinks we left. They had maybe 5 tables so it’s not like they were busy. And they had enough staff to have 3 people ID us.

Picture this, it’s cinco de Mayo and your restaurant is packed. Live music is playing and plenty of people are drinking, sounds like a great scenario right? No a complete and utter debacle. Our poor waiter was acting as a waiter, a cashier and manager because both owners didn’t bother to show up until 7:30pm. I feel incredibly sorry for the wait staff, they were obviously extremely overwhelmed. Numerous people walked out on their tabs because they simply couldn’t get a bill. One of the owners (who finally showed up) grabbed a plate from our table and asked how it was and I said horrible. Ready for his response? “Oh really,” and walked away! We gave our waiter an incredibly nice tip and walked out as did many others. I am reporting them to the better business bureau as I pulled all of their information from the Secretary of State. This was deplorable. We moved here from New Orleans recently and never would we have received service in any restaurant there and that’s a major city! For a town that prides themselves on customer service, these owners could obviously care less. Seriously disgusting and I can promise you we will never come to this establishment again and better yet, we live in the largest subdivision in town and I’ll make sure to spread the word. The wait staff was incredible given the situation they were put in by such poor poor poor ownership and leadership.
