Pretty much the only place I’ve been able to find that still does a seafood salad sub and it’s pretty good here. The place has a fun retro aesthetic and a very low stress atmosphere. It is good to the point that I make sure to come by whenever I’m in town.

Every ingredient was great, but the ensemble they call a “Chicken Parm” sub is so far from what I want chicken parm sub to be, I consider it bad. To be fair, the butter/toasting machine was down for service, so it’s possible this sub could be improved enough by that enhancement to be called ok.

This is like hidden gem! The service is very nice and the sandwich are amazing, especially the freshly baked bread, it’s incredible!

Amiel’s makes a fantastic submarine sandwich for a more than reasonable price. The staff behind the counter are always friendly and polite. The atmosphere is retro and has a unique 50’s vibe, that is rare these days. I would highly reccomend thier subs as one of the best in the area.

Very Sad just went to Amiel’s in Victor for some subs. I have been going there 2-3 times a month for years, love their food. But I was very disappointed in this last visit. First they said they didn’t have any roast beef which seemed odd. Then the young man said the morning shift forgot to put the beef in the oven. Ok it happens but another person said he had fresh beef coming right out so great. Then I asked to have the sub buttered and toasted and they said the machine was broke, sab but it ok. Then he said yeah not sure what is happening to this place. Wow that was odd, seems to be some training issues there. What I cannot tolerate was the place was a mess. No customers and 5 guys standing around shooting the breeze. the prep area was disgusting, the tables were a mess and had left over food on them. I saw balled up napkins and plastic drink bottles on the floor. No one seemed to care. There is a management problem there which clearly lands on the ownership. this is the broken window syndrome, meaning if this place doesn’t shape up it will close.

Good solid and filling subs. Long line and plenty of people working that made it go fast with good customer service.

This is a fantastic, local sub shop that uses good old fashioned ingredients and customer service to provide a great experience. My go to here is their chicken salad sub on sesame.

Amiels used to be our go to sub shop, but lately, dear goodness, I would rather go to subway… last 3 times have been decreasing in quality and the employees seem to care less. The latest round is some brown lettuce with dry meat placed without care in between a flop of dough. Yes, dough… A bun that brings shame to buns. Cook the bread, put viable toppings on, shouldn’t be that hard! Alas, it seems that no one dare instruct the workers in how to actually do their job. Anywho, I suggest you look elsewhere, unless on the verge of starvation.

Horrible staff. While this young lady with a ponytail was taking my mothers order I over heard her and her coworker (a male with glasses) start talking about my mother while they were behind the counter(I am not going to get specific). If you are going to be in a workplace with customers you should at least have the ability to show some respect to the customers who are paying your checks. Start checking who your hire.

It’s true – I’ll drive out of my way to get a Bernie’s favorite sub at Amiels. Bread baked onsite, the roast beef that is perfection, and they will toast the rolls – what more can you ask for? Well priced and lots of choices as well as supporting a great local business.
