Founded in January of 2023 by the Rodriguez Restaurant Group, Americana combines great food, great people, and great vibes into one amazing experience, bringing a special Bar and Restaurant atmosphere to West Hartford, Connecticut.
Featuring a bar with 12 draft lines, hand-made beverages and cocktails from margaritas to espresso martinis, and a great bottle selection, Americana is a great space to spend happy hour with your friends and family. You can also catch all of your favorite live sporting events on one of our bar’s big-screen TVs.
When it comes to the food, we have something for everybody. We have great hand-held appetizers to share at Happy Hour, great entrees such as pasta, steak, fish, tacos, burgers, salads, and more!

My friend and I enjoyed our dinner at Americana! The mocktails were great, and the chicken nachos were addicting. The Spring Salad was very fresh, and I loved the strawberry vinaigrette on it. The shrimp scampi entree was very tasty, but definitely quite garlicky! Americana had a great variety on their menu that really celebrates the diversity of American cuisine, and it felt like a good neighborhood spot.

Outstanding! Place looks fancy and casual at the same time but honestly it’s a place for any occasion. Staff and service was over the top. They were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Food and drinks were amazing. My husband and I had the spicy pasta and it really hit the spot. It was creamy and tasty. The spicy for me was mild but just right and the veggies…yummy!! The buffalo and bbq wings were mouth watering and finger licking. My daughter had the Americana Burger of course no tomato and was unbelievable. She’s 9 yrs old with a huge burger like that, she ate a bit more than half and was full. She wants to go back tonight for another. lol unfortunately we were busy enjoying our food I forgot to take a picture of her burger. A friend ordered the bacon avocado burger, she took a picture of it and it was also delicious. Both burgers were under $15 each. Americana grill and bar is our new favorite place!

We paid our first visit for HH and truly enjoyed the experience. Sat at one of the high tops in the bar area. Service was great – attentive, friendly, and respectful (none of the “hon” “darling” “love” business from 20 year olds and I can be their momma!) The owner came over to check on us too. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, made suggestions. The food was great, but the cocktails were even better – the bartender knew what he was doing . We’ll be back!

So… we’re used to going into town and eating/drinking but gave this place a chance as it’s a tiny bit closer. First- the staff was extremely kind and welcoming. Second- food was unbelievably good. We had the prime rib sliders which knocked our socks off. We also had steak tacos, calamari, chicken pot stickers and a pasta dish- all equally as delicious. We had a total of 6 higher end bourbons(total 3 each) and we only paid about $120. If you have thought about eating here and haven’t… DO IT! Scott was our bartender and was super helpful, friendly, and funny. This place is next level. 10/10.

Don’t walk……RUN to Americana Restaurant and Bar. We had an amazing dinner last night @ the bar. You know when you go somewhere and you can just tell the staff is proud to work there? The entire staff was like that. Cocktails were created by on the spot when I told the bartender what I was in the mood for!! The food was sooooo delicious and it was gorgeous inside! The yummy appetizers were gone before I could pull out my phone to take a picture. Huge patio as well, can’t wait to go back and sit outside. They also have a parking lot…..what is better than that! Great addition to West Hartford!!

The smash burgers and drinks were awesome! If your not a French fry person like me.. definitely get the coleslaw! Chris was our bartender and what a great guy! We enjoyed talking with him about our traveling excursions and we enjoyed listening of his adventures. The atmosphere is inviting and casual! The bar has an fabulous selection of bourbon, whiskey and my fave tequila! My husband and I highly recommend this place!

Went here a few weeks ago for the first time for dinner and sat in the bar area. Atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. My husband loved his crab cakes, my steak was overdone but still delicious – the manager was very responsive. Best Manhattan ever! We will definitely be returning.
