Long-standing classic diner and still manages to run 24×7. 50 years ago, my family moved into a house that was 2 streets away from here. As a kid, we only used to stop in here to trick-or-treat. I always wanted to go and just never had the opportunity. But after a concert in Montclair I did a search for 24-hour diners and this was not out of the way. We were seated immediately and had our drink order taken. The menu was pretty typical and our order came out quickly. While my grilled chicken was a bit dry, it was still on the tender side and tasty. Fries were perfect. The place started getting busy and it was after midnight so I was glad to see them get more business. Staff were friendly. Will likely make another stop here again in the next few months. The burgers, Reuben and desserts looked good as well, but I didn’t get to try any. The parking lot is kind of small, but so is the diner. You might have to park by the pharmacy next door.

I tried this place with the kids and was amazed. What we had: basket of fried chicken with sweet potato fries (it was topped off with onion rings), chicken noodle soup, hot dog, and grilled cheese sandwich. Great food, coffee, and service. We left full and happy!
