Jumped off at Hagerstown on trip from VA to OH and Google search showed this Pizzeria with excellent reviews. As we wanted Italian and not just pizza (and generally have had bad luck at Pizzeria Italian) we gave it a try. As it was 3 p.m. the place was empty but the counter was manned by owners wife. When technical question came up regarding Calamari, the chef (who spoke much better English) came out personally to explain. Had a great meal – salads, calamari, onion rings, fries – and owner/chef and his wife were attentive throughout. Perhaps not gourmet but giving my hard earned cash to a family run business that cares wins hands down. Great meal and great company.

Hands down the best pizza in Hagerstown! I love how they sprinkle the parmesan cheese around the crust on the edges! My grandson loves it so much he licks it off first then eats the pizza LOL (he’s 5)! The owner and staff are always so friendly and always try to ensure our satisfaction. We’ve never had a bad experience there!

Ordered online. When I went to pickup my Fun Guy pizza, the owner realized he had made a chicken bbq instead. He apologized and said he would redo my order. In about 15 min my correct pizza was ready. The owner also gave me the bbq pizza and said try it, you might like it. Yes, we did like it. Not a style I would have ever ordered and it was so good!

Decided to have lunch here with a few friends and family on a Sunday. It wasn’t busy, but there were few other customers inside. My group sat down and immediately ordered drinks which were ok, then we ordered food. Some things I believe that should’ve taken that long, took longer than usual. The food was hot, but too much salt on 4 out 10 people’s fries. We all had to tap the salt off! The hot wings were good according to my friend, but messy because they were super saucy. Their cheesesteak subs were good as well from 2 of our group members told us. Then I had a panini sandwich that was actually ciabatta bread instead and my chicken cutlet barely filled up the space on the bread. I had more bread than meat! The owners were sweet and nice, but for me I probably wouldn’t go back. Not trying to bash them because they were good, just those few things need to be worked on and I’m sure it will go better. The inside was clean and smelled fresh and the food scented the air which was nice.

I have known the owner for quite some time, have ate at every restaurant he’s opened, just tried this one and still the same taste that I loved about it!!! The pizzas and cheese steak subs are the best in the area!! Also huge plus, the sub rolls are freshly baked!!!!

We went to American Pie a few days ago and the owner or man working was SO kind and helpful. He even substituted garlic aioli on my Baked Potato pizza for the ranch and it was delicious! My husband and mom got a custom made Hawaiian pizza and devoured it. Can’t wait to come back ☺️
