My sandwich looks like it was fished out of the toilet I was so excited to try to American Deli in Troy after having multiple good experiences with the one in Ozark this was my first order from the Troy location and it’s safe to say I won’t be back I have never been as disappointed with “food” in my entire life.

I hate to be that guy but went with couple of friends three weeks after open. Were skeptical at the review, but it was worst. Had a philly, fried rice n couple of hot wings. Friends had the combo wings with beef fried rice n some philly. Boys do the wings dried, bony n saucy, not crispy at all. I love wings but theirs ain’t fresh. Fried rice was bland. Small portion n not worth the price. Friends beef was dried and crusty even when asked for medium rare.

I’m accustomed to American Deli the way its done in Atlanta (top notch)…this has to be the worst i have ever had in my life. I got a Philly with 5 pcs wing combo garlic parmesan flavor They poured some kind of garlic parmesan sald dressing over my wings and it looked unappetizing..my Philly looked like it came out of an illegal sweatshop. The meat had NO seasoning and the cheese had an after taste that let me know they are having food storage / serve safe compliance issues ..idk if its the grill or what but everybody was a HUGE NO the way my stomach is turning is not even describe able. I did not finish the sandwich the best thing I had from here was a Sprite.

Our first time in this restaurant will probably be our last. The first thing I asked was “Do you have gluten free breads?” The answer was “No”. I said, “In that case I will have a burger with no bread and make it a combo. I can’t eat bread so I’ll just have the meat and vegetables.” And the lady at the register acknowledged my request. My husband ordered and we got our drink cups and a receipt and sat at an empty table.

Wings is nothing like other American deli’s around. Wings taste like fish and have a funny smell. Hot wing sauce has a funny taste and not the same as others. Fries was cold and taste old.

I had the philly and wings but their portion of steak is very small compared to other locations. Good but small. I think they are skimping on the meat. The lobby needed attention because there were dirty tables and floors. Someone spilled ranch on the floor before we got there and no one came to clean it up even after we left. The kitchen area looked like the lobby but worse. Can’t say I’ll visit this location again but I did give it a try. Cleanliness is a must for me.

I tried out American Deli today for the first time and it wasn’t worth my money. I got the 10 pc wing combo and I would rate the fries and drink as a 10/10. The wings however are a completely different story, I ordered them in a Honey Garlic sauce and I’m not even sure it was the right sauce. The food was lukewarm and my 10th wing wasn’t even a wing, it was a deformed ball. To make matters worse, the cashier admitted that it only takes two minutes for a wing combo because they don’t make fresh wings, they use the same wings from the time the store opens for the day and just refry them when an order is up. She did say that you can order the wings fresh, but it’ll take away the crispy texture and they’ll be soggy. Shout out to the cashier for keeping it real. If you love American Deli like I do, I would suggest going to the Montgomery or Ozark locations if you want hot, fresh food. This location in Troy is a waste of time and money, they don’t even have a big menu like other locations, you have to look at a pamphlet. The woman who owns this one owns the Trojan Hibachi place as well and they give out cold food too, I guess it’s just a theme for her restaurants.

The most bland food I have ever had the fries weren’t even salted, the Philly had almost no flavor and the bun was super soggy. I don’t suggest coming here over priced and a long wait for mediocre food

Food was greasy and nothing to write home about…especially when you can go elsewhere and get the same items but better tasting. Atmosphere was horrid… so loud you couldnt even talk to the person sitting next to you. The floor was dirty and the employees seemed aggravated that people were in line to order.
