Mar concessions Smokehousengrill
Shrimp tacos were pretty good. Says citrus slaw but there was no hint of citrus. I’d recommend a slash of pineapple juice in the slaw or a little chopped up pineapple.Steak in the quesadilla wasn’t the best quality (you can taste it)still decent for most palates. Fries was underwhelming (no seasoning)burger was good.overall a strong 4!

We got there at 5pm on Saturday . We were sitted right away. Our waitress was great. Food was also great. Family of 4 our total was $82 and we all got meals plus 2 appetizers, and a beer. Shrimp and fried oysters were hot ,crispy and filling. The fried pickles were thick. Coleslaw was dry. But good all in all.

Everything was amazing! No wait time and the service/atmosphere was amazing. We have a family of 5 so it’s always refreshing to find a place to take our kids. We had the Gulf Coast Mac and Cheese, it was delicious. Gumbo was also great. Will definitely be back!

Service was very slow, we sat for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to come over at 430 when place was pretty empty. So, 20 minutes to get drinks…appetizer and food came out pretty quick. Ahi tuna, DO NOT suggest getting from here, it’s not seared at all..no flavor, literally raw fish on a plate, that’s it. Steak actually had great flavor with the butter they serve on top, overcooked but still alright, green beans were good, we finished what we were going to eat and got to go box to take the rest. As we were packing our boxes and signing the bill….a baby roach crawled across the table, then into a crevice in the table….looking at previous reviews I see this isn’t the first time this has happened…we threw remaining food away. Too many other places to choose from with better food and no bugs. As locals, we won’t go back and have warned others.

Wowwwww I just can’t put word together to describe how flavorful our dishes were . From the Gumbo to the main course. Chef Dave was very personable and appreciative of our business. Pictures don’t these dishes justice.
Sweet Temptations
I was impressed all the way around! I had the southwest chicken salad and it was phenomenal. The avocado was incredibly fresh. Our server Brandie did an amazing job and after that experience we would definitely come back if we were locals. Local police officers had their lunch here as well and from my experience back home, the restaurants frequented by local PD are where the good food is at. Five stars all the way around.

We really enjoyed our first visit to American Charlie. Started with crispy fried pickles which we both loved. Great onion soup, salad with grilled chicken, and the best burger. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely return.

Great addition to Panama City Beach! Very friendly staff. Location is great for locals and visitors. Lots of parking. The decor is fun. The food is a nice twist on Americana. Our group had the grouper entree, Kentucky Bourbon steak, Po-Bo, and Gumbo and salad combo. Everything was delicious! Excellent price point for families, lunch or date night.
