Heard from a friend that this place had recently (March 2023) reopened so we decided to stop by for lunch on a Friday. Plenty of seating, and interior (including restrooms) was new and clean. Tables have a sheet metal top that is easy to clean; however, the gap where the sheet metal inlay joins the wood portion of the table is going to be quite difficult to keep clean.

I did like the fact that we could see planes coming and going in the airport. The ambience was really nice. The food was okay but it was a bit pricey . I did not take a picture of the cod fish and chips my neighbor ordered. It was a pretty good size with the fish though. She said the fries were not the same and was not as good. She did recommend the place and wanted to spend time with me there. The place was popular for lunch though.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Clam chowder was hearty and filling. Crab Ladder Sandwich was a nice club type sandwich switch up. NOW WE MUST DISCUSS THE FRIES…a light outer seasoned crunch leading to a pillow potato goodness center. Seriously I could just have their fries and be happy.

Great service from Xenia, had the halibut fish and chips and it was better than Anthony’s. Owner came out to say hi. The dessert was awesome. We sat outside and the atmosphere was very nice.

We had an early dinner (4:00) on a Tuesday afternoon. It was great!!! I ordered Steak Bites appetizer (sauteed in butter and olive oil with garlic and sprinkled with Blue Cheese!) and Grilled Caesar Salad for my meal. So good! In hindsight, I could have ordered just the house salad (not the Caesar), as I got full, but I had enough steak to take home for lunch the next day.

Great start! Brand new restaurant, still training staff but doing a great job so far. Nice, crisp Fish & Chips that weren’t greasy, good fries and lovely atmosphere.

Just opened. Been there on day two so little slow on service but very acceptable considering. Manager/owner were really nice as well as entire staff

Went on the second day they were open. Food was very good. Servers were very friendly and they will become more efficient as time passes. Prices were high, portions were good. Drinks were very good but expensive. Will definitely be coming back and trying breakfast too!

Ok, my lunch was actually quite good! I had the fish (halibut) and chips with a bowl of clam chowder and I was impressed by the preparation and flavors. So why only 4 stars? The service was very pleasant, the portion was very good but it was the price that sucked the life out of the experience. With a customary tip I paid $42 for my single entree and soup. While crazy expensive at least the portion and flavor was good. The fish and chips were delicious with the fish cooked perfectly with a lovely batter. The seasoned fries were a big hit with my coworkers with whom I shared the fries only (not getting my fish!). The tarter sauce was very good and the coleslaw was good but could used maybe a little more pepper but still good overall. The clam chowder was surprisingly good but I think they pulled a fast one by keeping the clam count low and adding bacon because I kept detecting something meat-like but didn’t have the texture of clams. If clams were in there, I could hardly detect any but at least the soup had a wonderful flavor overall as a potato bacon soup. Was my meal expensive, yes overly so, but at least I had an enjoyable meal (you guys owe me some clams!) and was full at the end. I’ll give them a try again next time I’m in town and have $40 burning a hole in my pocket.

Real big “ehhh” here. Food’s overpriced for how “okay” it was, staff was in training, lots of confusion, forgotten orders, a tiny menu, portion size was weak, and their coleslaw was the cheapy store bought kind. Overall, a very big miss.
