One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’ve almost had every burger except the Picante (soon though) The grizzly burger being my favourite. The mustard and pickles really gives the burger a kick with its juicy patties.

Alvin’s spot is a definite must-visit and is worth any burger lovers visit. The burger was full of flavor and the staff in the store will welcome you and help if you have questions. The food comes out really quick and if you’re in the area for just quality meats, it’s as advertised; quality meats are here.

Amazing quality burgers if you’re ever craving a really juicy patty. You can really taste the flavor of the beef in every bite. I really enjoyed their standard cut fries however there was another time I went where they had crinkle cut which I was less of a fan of. Overall a great burger place if you’re ever in Chinatown and want a great value burger.

I ordered a Fancy DH and regular french fries to take out. I think it will look better if I dine in. But the fries are still crispy, and the burger is so succulent that I bite it and it made my desk a mess.

I’ve been so into smash burgers recently… so this place was right up my alley. I’m sad that I only recently had this, when I’ve had it saved for so long in my Google Maps and now moved out of LA. Their burgers are just so SCRUMPTIOUS. I don’t know how else to put it lol. I love all the little sesame seeds on the toasted bun that give it a nice texture. I love their house sauce. I love how they season and cook the patties. Everything’s just so well done.

No joke, this was probably one of the best burgers (and fries) I have ever eaten… and I take my burgers probably more seriously than I should. Aesthetically, they are amazing with a large perfectly round sesame bun. Although it’s pretty, the ratio looks like it would be too much bun to burger ( for the smash patties at least) however it is absolutely perfect. The meat is high quality and cooked perfectly. the toppings are simple and spot on. Plus every there is super nice and take pride in their place. This is the real deal.

One of the best burgers in LA. Burgers are thick and juicy. Simple burgers, no crazy toppings. Fries are ok. The hotdog was good too. Not much seating though. There’s street meter parking and pay lots nearby.

Until yesterday, I wasn’t able to find a burger In LA that can beat Au Cheval and Small Cheval in Chicago. We have a little Chicago/LA rivalry in my circle so finding this spot put an end to that argument. I finally found the burgers that can match the quality and beat Chicagos prices! Classic LA style. Good food at affordable prices. I tried the DH, double classic and the Royale. Of the 3, the DH and the double classic were by far the best burgers. The Royale was good but doesn’t fit into the same category as the other two and can’t compare to Au Cheval or small Cheval in Chicago so I had to disqualify it from my contest. The service was friendly and the prices were good for the quality! Not at all “too salty” and the meat is perfectly moist. Lasita next door sells natural wine. 5/5 would recommend this spot and I hands down have found a burger better than Small Cheval and Au Cheval in Chicago. The photos are posted with no filters. Last recommendation, be ready to wait up to 30 minutes for your burger. This place is popular.

Amboy is part burger shop and part butcher shop. The burger patties are freshly ground and the quality truly shines through.

Easily one of the best burgers in Los Angeles. I would say the top list for me is Amboy, Monty‘s, Hi-Ho, and Goldburger (in no particular order). Amboy has high-quality meat and very thick burgers. Very different than Monty‘s for obvious reasons and also different from Goldburger in that these are not smash burgers. The burgers are well seasoned and there is also a meat market inside the restaurant. They sell steaks and drinks, as well as burgers to go or to have on the patio.
