My husband and I were treat very badly by the entire staff only because we complained about the very cold bacon I got bacon my blt sandwich and my husband got side of bacon with his biscuit and gravy. When we told the waitress she told the manger she was very smart like what do you want me to do. All we wanted was what we was paying for bacon that was at least warm didn’t have to be fresh . So she grab my plate and said well if u want it fresh it will take a while to cook . 5 minutes later she brought it back and ask that was good enough they burnt it but I didn’t complained about that. I said it was good, then she proceed to say that if you want crispy bacon we have to tell the waitress they don’t cook bacon crispy there . I told heri just want it warm and that I work as a cook at cracker barrels restaurant know that bacon need be kept in a warmer and not serve cold . This piss her so she told the cooks and they started saying out loud that cracker barrels suck and the Manger came up to me and that every time she eat at cracker barrels the food is always cold . We have never been to a restaurant where the Manger and the owner who were in The back cooking role offense over cold bacon and treat us very badly . We paid for the food and was leaving when I told the Manger that her and the cook was acting very unprofessional and treat their customers badly . She said that they are the owner and can do what ever they want. We have been coming here for years but after today never will

A/C needs a little more work. Has been overly warm several times over the last year. I frequent this restaurant for the great coffee, food and wonderful Becky!

We are actually about 2 to 2 1/2 hours away in a town called Middlesboro, KY. We drove down with my brother on a Saturday. We, along with a huge party coming in the door behind us, were all met at the door and told to “go find a seat” while pointing in directions of tables with signs saying this section unavailable. We went and seated ourself, okay no biggie at this point, but wait.. we sat down and the party of at least 10 sat behind us joining a party that was already there of at least 5-7 more people. We sat, we sat, we waited, and waited. The waitresses shuffled by never once glancing in our direction. Waiting on other tables with a pot of coffee in hands. We sat for greater than 30min, maybe 45 and we all including the others all left. NO ONE EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED WE WERE THERE or that we were leaving. The place was full and the staff was horrible. Worse we have ever been treated anywhere. Get with it and at least acknowledge your customers.

I haven’t been there in quite some time. I remember the biscuits & gravy being great, but this time, I ordered a breakfast sandwich… sausage, egg, and I asked for cheese to be added (twice, I might add) and home fries. The sandwich came out with NO cheese (which they charge $1.30 for a slice), and the home fries were just what appeared to be little cut potatoes you could purchase at most grocery stores… no onion or seasoning. They came out cold. When I asked the waitress about the cheese, she took the sandwich back, and she or the cook just slapped a cold slice on, so that was unfortunate… the food was cold, the waitress was not attentive or helpful. And my meal (a cold sandwich and cold potatoes) came put to over $15 … I was very disappointed…

Very friendly staff and good country diner food. Don’t expect anything fancy, but you will get a cup of coffee set fast in front of you and a large choice of solid country selections on the menu.

Breakfast the right way. Made to your order with amazing servers and home cooking taste. Then when you see the cost you will be back.

Very expensive and the menu, to me was misleading. I read it that you get gravy and bread with an omelet. So I ordered the western omelet at $13.50. Then found out from a waitress, that was just for the omelet. The bread was extra. So add on an additional 2.25 for a couple slices of toast. Then a convieince fee for paying with a card and I paid $20.50 for an omelet. Won’t happen again

Great prices for seniors. Good meat and 2 fresh sides. The interior is old and dated. Servers are very friendly and take good care of their customers.

Service is awful. We sat for 15 min before we could get drinks sat 10 min before we were even greater. Food took 30 more min. Server never came to check on us or to fill out drinks. We had to do that ourselves. People were walking out because they weren’t being greeted or getting drinks. Servers didn’t prebus their tables our first time here was just as bad so we decided to give it a second try. We won’t be back it’s just as terrible if not worse. Not even busy and this place is disgusting. The busser is the only one working. Bacon taste like fat back. It’s like they just drop it in the fryer

Lackluster, dark, dreary, old old old, looks musty, old carpets, it’s not a nice place… the coffee tasted burnt. Breakfast was not that great and EXPENSIVE for what it was. How eggs, bacon hashbrowns, 2 coffees and biscuits and gravy were $40 I have no idea. The waitress was nice enough, but I’ll go on over to scotties or inskip grill for breakfast instead.
