Stopped in on a whim and thought I would try some hot dogs. Had a Polish dog, Chicago dog and their Buffalo dog. Not a single thing wrong with them. Buns were soft and ingredients were fresh. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the Chicago dog but Polish was a close second.

I haven’t been to Amazing Deli in a long time, so I was eager to try it again. First off, the prices are nowhere to be seen–not on the menu, not on the board above the counter. You don’t know what you’re paying until you check out. I ordered a half chicken salad pita, thinking that a WHOLE pita was the entire round pita. No, a half pita is a quarter of the pita. There was about a tablespoon of salad on the pita for $6.00. It was delicious, but was about three bites. My friend ordered a salad for us to share. It was the size of a small side salad–for $10. It had four thin slices of beet, one thin slice of tomato, a few onions, green pepper, and lettuce. The dressing was delicious. I definitely won’t be back. Wishing I’d taken a picture.

I came in on a Monday on a busy and important day and ordered a sand which and I got the kens Italian, I was very hesitant on ordering but I gave it a chance… I was very upset that I payed 15 dollars for a drink and a sand which that was 8” with hardly any meat. And the cheese option for an Italian sub was “American” like common. I had a hard time just stomaching the American cheese.

Friendly folks, clean and nice location. Had the Cuban, which was a good sandwich for sure, but NOT what I expected for a Cuban sandwich. Pretty much a mid Michigan attempt at a classic. It was all good for what it was though.

Have tried this place twice now. Wanted to love it but it’s just ok. Nothing special and definitely overpriced. Don’t get me wrong, the sandwich itself wasnt bad per say, just not something I will purchase again. The sandwich was the same size as what you’d make at home and the cheese slice was a Kraft singles style slice. Not worth the cost.
