Went here for the first time with my family today & the service was so lovely. I may be biased but this restaurant is owned by a family of a friend of mines & the lady who I’m assuming is his mother or grandmother was so sweet & kind. The portions are massive & the food was so delicious! She gave us some extra treats for us to try & they were so tasty. Our server was also very sweet & attentive to anything we needed! I will come back with my family again very soon. Thanks again!

The food was as delicious as expected given all the great reviews on Amay kitchen. I took the opportunity to have a non-Thai dish, the Myanmar Nan Gyi Thok. It had a savory flavor unlike any other Asian dishes I’ve had, and I have had a lot! 🙂 I think the underlying profile was peanut, the spices were low-key, and it wasn’t spicy at all. My wife had the Pad See Euw which was well seasoned with fresh broccoli. My parents had the Massaman Curry. This is our go-to Thai curry in any Thai restaurant and Amay’s preparation didn’t disappoint!

We were very excited to try this place out with the 5.0 rating at the time of our visit. Unfortunately we were not overly impressed. While the samosas and spring rolls were excellent, the entress left us wanting. Our kids split the lo mein and it just tasted like a light soy sauce. Not appetizing at all, and they hardly ate it. My wife got some coconut soup dish, and the flavors were just average. No depth, very simple. I got the seafood pad kee mao. It did come with a good portion of seafood, and I would say it was a 3.5* dish. To us, Amay Kitchen is overrated. But we are also spoiled with some truly great Thai food in Lima where we are from. Maybe all the 5* reviews haven’t had amazing Thai yet?

The food was delicious! We had two entrees coconut soup and massaman “curry” both were very very tasty! As an appetizer spring rolls they were very good as well, not over cooked at all. We had wanted to try the samosas but they were all sold out so the next time! I highly recommend giving this Thai restaurant a try you won’t be disappointed at all. They are vegetarian vegan GF friendly just an FYI and are willing to accommodate your dietary requirements!

Absolutely amazing food!! Fast service, and everyone was notably kind. We even received free spring roles, which were amazing! The red curry is AMAZING and I can’t recommend this place enough. The prices are very reasonable and the location is perfect for while you’re out and about in fort wayne! Truly a great addition to the restaurant scene in fort wayne and not a place to miss out on!

A hidden gem in Indiana ✨I may not be an expert food critic but since I am a full blooded Asian, I can tell if it’s authentic or not (or if the chef is trying hard ) You can really taste the freshness of every herbs and spices together with the veggies that are cooked just right. Kudos to the chef and to San, for being friendly, hospitable and provided us a quality customer service. This is not a fast food so bring some extra patience in waiting for your food because they are preparing it without any shortcuts. It’s worth the wait. Hoping that they will add desserts on the menu (mango sticky rice please). Exteriors and interiors of the place is plain and simple but I don’t mind since I’m after the food experience. Will definitely come back and recommend!
