Amato’s is a Maine icon. Just eat there. This location contains a full service fuel , convenience and dunkin donuts. Its amazing. Cassady works nights, old world, old school friendly service. Proud to go there. My dog LOVES him!

Love Amatos being from Maine, this is a Gass station franchise, so I am not surprised it is not as good as a flagship store, but it is still pretty good. Nothing hits like a cold Italian on a hot day. The ladies who work there are very nice and friendly, but it is a bit tedious to have to pay at the gas station counter, after you pick up your slip, then go back to the Amatos counter to pick up the food. This is no way is a deterrence, just an observation for elderly and handicap individuals.

Got what I paid for, I guess. Ordered for three people. Two items wrong. Lettuce on sandwich should have been thrown away yesterday.

I cannot Express how AMAZING this is! I would normally drive to Portland Maine to get my sandwiches. Thank you so much for opening this up! Went & got my sandwich today & I am beyond happy with it! Thanks again!

Finally! We don’t have to drive to Maine for the best sandwiches in the world! Ok so depending on who is working depends on how close to the real Maine Italian you get but its close enough no matter who makes it rather than driving 2 hours! I have it on good authority from those in the know that if you partake in that mj this is a must munchie.

Good service quick stop if you need a dunking. Pizza or sandwich on the run!
