We visited the monastery and needed a place to eat on our way home. It was on Sunday so the places to eat were limited. This place met our fancy. We decided to share a meal. We ordered the chefs salad and the chicken Parmigiano. The salad was fresh. Our meal arrived fairly quick. The chicken and spaghetti was okay. The bread rolls were probably the best part. They were quite fresh. All in all a decent place to dine.

Our pizza was very good although the crust is thicker than what we are used to in a NY style pizza. I prefer my wings fried until crispy, the hot wings we got were soft – perhaps baked rather than fried. Not bad, but not my preference. Service was great, were pleasant and attentive.

I’ve never written a review before but A & Ms deserves one. We arrived shortly after opening at 3pm one other family had arrived at the same time. We were told we may pick a place to sit so we grabbed a table. The waitress made her way over to the other families table as they arrived first, came right up to us after she was super friendly and answered the questions we had. We ordered the Sicilian combo pizza, curly fries and mozzarella sticks. The fries were so good! Ranch was perfect, always looking for good ranch and they have that as well. And mozzarella stick amazing! But that pizza was just WOW! Delicious! Best I’ve had in a long time. As we were eating my daughter text me and asked us to grab her a pizza so we proceeded to order a big apple pizza to go, they just ran out of sweet peppers so the gentleman making the pizzas came and asked if we would like jalapeños instead. We declined because my daughter isn’t a fan of too much spice. This man was just beyond nice. I can’t say that enough. His overall attitude and kindness made my day. Our waitress was just the sweetest. The staff there was amazing. Also grabbed some Italian cookies made at a bakery in the valley by the owners friend and those were just as good! Definitely worth stopping in and grabbing a slice! I will definitely be going back. Mind you this wasn’t a planned stop this was a darn the restaurant we wanted to stop at in Miami, AZ wasn’t open on the way home from Alpine, AZ this was a well let’s try this place moment. Ended up being super worth it! Thank you for the amazing food and service!

Update: I believe it was the owner that we contacted and he made it right. Was able to get a remake of the pizza and it came out much better than first time! Thank you for a good quality pizza and being kind enough to remake the food. Shows that you care about the people who live in this Town. We will be back 🙂

You can’t go wrong here this is totally authentic Italian pizza you can taste the difference right away, it’s not greasy. The bread tastes so good be it’s self . The people are very friendly, you’re able to speak with the guy that cooks the pizza. Customer service is amazing they greet you with a smile the price goes with the order. I think it’s reasonable. The pizza was delicious. I highly recommend it. We ordered a medium Original Italian Pizza for lunch. After tasting how good the pizza tasted. We had to bring one home for our grandson for dinner. We ordered a Pizza Meaty Amore you won’t regret it.

Didn’t see many reviews on the Sicilian Pizza, so thought I would say it is excellent! I do recommend eating it immediately! I got it to go, and took a bite while it was piping hot in the vehicle, and wow! Drove around running errands for 20-30 minutes, and while it is still good, it is better piping hot. Got the Mango Habenero wings, and they had good flavor, but were not hot at all. Staff was friendly, and helpful. Overall good meal!

Ordered an medium Original pizza w/Kalamata olives and Feta added on. Waited 45 mins for our pizza and when we got it home, there was no Basil anywhere on the pizza, scant pieces of Feta, and “green” olives, not Kalamata. I paid $26+ tx for it. I called to complain and the guy on the phone said they were out of Basil and wouldn’t get any till their next truck, and when told him about the olives, all he said was he’d have to look into it, didn’t offer any kind if discount and when I pressed him on what he was going to do to remedy the issue, he just said he’d have to look into it. There are only “three” ingredients on an “Original”, Sauce Cheese, & Basil. If I hadn’t gotten the olives, and Feta, I would have paid $26+ for a Cheese Pizza!! I don’t know who’s running the restaurant now, because the owner wasn’t there, but we have been customers since we moved here 6yrs ago, and have never been treated so Rudely, and dismissed like he didn’t care at all. Florence is a nice town, so I doubt this person is a local. We will not be returning if this matter is not addressed.
