I dined here a couple months ago on a whim. Had Chicken Cordon Bleu with a salad, potatoes and wine. The meal was delicious. The atmosphere is very homely, which makes sense as it’s in the owners home!! Such a cool small time vibe and atmosphere. This is definitely the “fanciest” restaurant in La Veta, but it’s far from pretentious. I can’t wait to go back when I come back down.Seating is limited and you definitely need to make a reservation ahead of time. Enjoy!

I have been coming here for several years now and we absolutely love Aly’s so so so much. Its always the most amazing environment and Aly is so dedicated to delicious cuisine!!! Occasionally the wait staff is low but there is absolutely no room to complain when everything else is so perfect. I would recommend Aly’s to anyone who loves food and loves having a good time :)))

I’ve had two amazing meals here and highly recommend Alys’. The environment is so lovely, the service stellar and the food is to die for. The wine list is very reasonable and what a selection. Don’t forget to make reservations in advance. But do not miss out on this dinning experience!! Even the bathroom is adorable! What a gem.

I really can’t say enough about Alys’ restaurant, it is WAY off of the main routes and totally worth making the trip. The menu changes constantly and nothing is bad, you can’t make a bad choice. The chef has an amazing flair for flavor combinations, you must give this place a try, you will be back often. We go as much as possible!

You won’t be disappointed. A surprising gem in such a small community. Alys is a great host and runs a tight ship. We were a party of three. Larger groups might not fit as easily, you should ask when you call. The menu is small but thoughtful and focused. The kitchen cooked and timed things just right. Rack of lamb cooked actually rare — the meat eaters at our table were delighted. Super rich crab cakes, not doughy, sauteed crispy. Wine list is deep too. Local art on the walls!
