We had an excellent anniversary dinner at Alta. Our server Brooke gave great recommendations and was very attentive. We really enjoyed the pulled pork croquette (which is more like an egg roll), the pasta (doesn’t need add on protein), and the duck confit special. The owner stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our meal, and they surprised us with macaroons for our anniversary!

Extremely warm people (owner and servers) and cozy environment. Arrived around 5 and was able to be seated right away. Even though I had made a reservation for later, they still were aware of the dietary restrictions I noted and that we were celebrating a birthday! The food was delicious, a must stop if you’re in the area. Def make a reservation!

Absolutely fantastic food! I got the duck with Carmel sauce, sounds odd but it was like a savory gravy and could not have been better! My partner got the pork cheek and it was so tender and juicy. The service was impeccable, I dropped my napkin and our server popped up and gave me a new one almost immediately. Without a doubt worth a try.

We were greeted by the owner who truly made us feel like a welcomed guest, our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating and the dishes (salmon and duck) were amazing! We appreciated the wine pairing suggestions (the suggested red blend for the duck was spot on) and the ability to order a flight of wines was fun. The ambience is great and the noise level allowed for easy conversations (very important to us). We definitely look forward to returning. Wonderful experience overall.

Came to Lenox for music and had dinner at the Alta. Completely understand why they got great reviews. It was as close to perfect as you can get. The ambience was just right ( the weather helped), our server ( Trevor) was what you hope for – pleasant, knowledgeable, there when you want him and not when you didn’t. The food was delicious and just the right amount. Don’t know when we will be back in town but will not hesitate to return.

Everything about this place was fantastic. The owner not only visited the table but also delivered the delicious wine. The food was fabulous. Very attentive waiter. We had the grilled tofu, alta salad with tofu, and the special basil mousse tart. Amazing. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible. From the hospitality and the quality of the food, Alta continued to exceed all expectations. Our server was attentive and warm, the wine of the week paired perfectly with our meals and the owner stopped by our table to ensure that we were having a lovey experience. Every bite of our food was a masterpiece. Highly recommend. Alta is the place to be.

Impeccable service, fantastic meal. Highly recommend the duck breast (medium rare) with caramel sauce, which has apparently been on the menu for the last 13+ years. Good list of cocktails and wine and a short drive away from any of the local hotels/lodging. Definitely do not miss when staying in town, reservations recommended.
