Very good food. My server was extremely friendly and the food was 10/10. We had a bourbon burger, an Als burger, and crab stuffed mushrooms and all of it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was very cool sports bar like vibe but at the same time it was a classy nice restaurant. It’s hard to describe but definitely worth a visit.

We had been driving past Al’s Cafe for years before we decided to stop in and give it a try and now we say, “What took us so long!”

This is a great restaurant and a local institution. They have a really big menu and it often is overwhelming. My daughter and I went for lunch and I’m glad we came.

In the days past I used to frequent this restaurant quit a lot. As this was my first outing back since the Covid lock down I was looking forward to going back to what I consider a community restaurant. While the food was its normal quality. The wait staff was not as friendly and or well versed in their job. Our waitress never came back to check on us. Extra items asked for were never brought to the table and that nice family feel I was used to was missing. It was a bit disappointing to say the least. I felt our server was not sure of the menu, unable to answer questions properly and waited way too long to ask if we needed anything else, drinks ect. I’m very patient but I will admit the feel and vibe of this community restaurant has changed. It’s not the same as it once was. This is one persons opinion and only reflects our most recent visit but it was the experiences we had on this date. Hoping it gets back to what I know and love.

First of all, the service was excellent, can’t remember the waitress’s name but she was wonderful.

This is a hidden gem in the region. A must go to restaurant. Excellent food and generous portions. Friendly service and clean. Ask for Dana who is an exemplary waitress at Al’s. Great selections and house specials. Family friendly and excellent seating with visual items that you want to see. ENJOY!

We went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place is a great size. A big turnoff was when we walked in it. Was extremely hot like there was no air conditioning. I ordered a steak rare knowing it. Would come medium rare…it. came medium. My mother in law who is gluten free found that the gluten free menu was one of the best in the area. The price was decent dinner for two and tip was 47 bucks. Service was ok. Not sure I would go here again.

They have a great menu, love the rustic decor. You feel like you’re in a ski lodge somewhere. It’s casual dining attire but they have a vast menu… not just bar food. Love their stir fry.

Old school restaurant. Service was good. Food was OK. My Mediterranean salad was fine. My wife’s club sandwich was not. She said that the bread left a lot to be desired. We may go back but not for the club sandwich.

The food was decent. They have a very large menu. I’m hoping I just went on an off day. Prices are pretty comparable to other restaurants. Server seemed preoccupied and I got mayo instead of sour cream. I will go back to try again.
