Went to dinner this evening with my wife. Had my eye on this place for a few weeks.

Well, the food is fresh, however it’s not very memorable but the services excellent. The atmosphere is great. It’s a nice little quiet spot. What we like to say off in the cut the food is okay. I mean you can get the pork chops. It’s a great size on it. Other little things you can get as well. It’s not very memorable and for me at least but the service was great. We had a great server. The bar selection is good. They have a TV in there. If you’re into that and you want to sit and just watch TV and have a drink you can do that as well. But the food I mean you can experience it for me. It wasn’t that memorable, but if you’re on a date, it’s a nice little place. You can take a date and share a plate and just try to have a good time. So I will go try. It probably won’t ever go back again but it’s just something different if you’re living here

Everything was delicious came here to celebrate my birthday back in December. The only thing I have to say is I wish my steak was a little thicker cut for the price. Everything was cooked and seasoned very well. My fiance really enjoyed the dessert. We would go back!!

My 2nd time at Alqueria, first was a bus dinner, this time for Restaurant Week with my wife. Both times were wonderful! My wife enjoyed an “Orange Blossom” cocktail; delicious but more apéritif sized. My gazpacho and her white bean cucumber “salad” starters were perfectly balanced. She had the salmon cakes, which were crisp outside and moist/well-seasoned inside. I ordered blackened chicken with a herb mascarpone potato purée that we both agreed was amazing. Service throughout was top-notch! Just go!

It doesn’t seem like this would be a quality spot since this is located right near Ohio State. You might it would be more of a dive spot like many of the restaurants in the area. Not Alqueria! Its definitely a spot the locals in Victorian Village/Harrison West would know about but if you haven’t been – we really loved it! The food, service, and outdoor patio area was so nice! I really loved their braised beef short rib dish… it was to die for! I cant think of a better short rib anywhere else. Their cocktails were fresh and our server was so polite, professional, and informative. Will be going back soon!

Ryan is an amazing chef, and they have plenty of options on the menu for everyone. This place offers a very fun spin on many of our favorite dishes. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

During a recent visit to Columbus, we chose an early dinner at Alqueria on King Street. “Alqueria” is Catalan for “Farmhouse.” I suggest first of all that you visit here during your stay, and second, make a reservation, or you could miss the opportunity to enjoy the tasty food that is served here.

Apparently a hidden gem— I’m surprised it wasn’t more crowded based on how amazing the food was. Everything we ate was excellent, from the specials (short rib and a garlic shrimp appetizer) to the menu staples like lamb shank and salmon, which was cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to come back and try even more of the menu!

The food was phenomenal, and I had the Portabello Mushroom with stuffed lamb and Spicy Gachepacho with shrimp. Both were the weekly specials and lived up to their name. The mezcal drink was also amazing and mixed perfectly!

I am embarrassingly late posting this review. We visited this establishment the summer of 21, again disgustingly late! We had such a pleasant time. Our waiter a gentleman with dark hair and some facial hair& glasses(forgive me not recalling his name) was amazing! He was warm, welcoming, attentive, funny, clever, & very informative regarding the menu. The drink were delicious and beautiful. Mine tasted like a thin mint. The burger so hardy and perfectly prepared. We shared an appetizer which was wings with sesame seeds. They were delicious. We dined outside as the weather was gorgeous. We look forward to visiting again soon. It was definitely worth it. Oh, btw the ladies room was spotless, always a huge deal to me!
