We weren’t expecting much from a local spot in a tourist town. Coming from Cleveland, OH where an entire section of town called Little Italy exists with some of the best Pizza around. We were blown away by the dough in the crust and knots. Crispy but soft on the inside. The sauce tasted homemade and the cheese blend was spot on. We also had the meatballs which were amazing. If you are looking for great food and even better service (ask for Kevin!) you won’t be disappointed!!!

It was our first time in Helen and this was our first stop and this restaurant was the best first stop ever!!! Sabrina our waitress was an absolute angel. We were a party of 4 plus a toddler and a newborn. I can’t begin to explain what an amazing experience we had. Not only did the food exceed our expectations but the service was outstanding. She made us feel so special. She introduced us to locals and handed us a map. 100% recommend, especially if you have family.

Our family had a great experience eating here! Our waitress was 10/10. Very nice and kind, interacting with our kids, going above and beyond making sure we were taken care of. The mozzarella cheese sticks were cooked perfectly. We had one calzone with pineapple and ham (Hawaiian). One calzone with bell peppers, black olives, bacon, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese. One 10in pizza with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, and cheese. The calzones were the biggest I have ever seen. They were loaded with the toppings we chose! They were cooked just right, and both of them tasted amazing. The pizza was just as good, loaded with flavor and crisp with every bite! We have definitely found another restaurant to eat at each time our family visits Helen. Wonderful people, very clean restaurant, and amazing food!

The food was delicious.The Hawaiian pizza, the pepperoni pizza and the Caesar salad were made with fresh ingredients and tasted excellent. We received service well beyond expectations. When I told our waiter Kevin I had a severe tomato allergy he consulted with management to determine I could safely eat there. In the end my manager prepared my meal himself making certain there was no cross contamination. The restaurant was roomier than it looked on the outside and we had our choice of seating areas. Definitely a good choice.

Our dinner was fantastic!!! The garlic knots and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh. And the pepperoni and veggie pizzas were outstanding. So fresh, so crisp, so much flavor! And our server Kevin was fantastic. We asked for a specific drink, and he made sure to accommodate and follow up to make sure we were happy. We sat outside on the porch and had a really great, relaxed dinner.

This was some genuinely good pizza. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the company of the dogs other customers had with them and the children picked out some candy on the way out. Overall, great place. Way better than expected for a tourist town!

Wow! This place was amazing! We got in to town late and stopped here to eat some pizza after a long road trip. The atmosphere was homie and down to earth! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! We have 3 kids so they sat us somewhere private so we wouldn’t disturb the other guests! They offered us coloring books and crayons to entertain and even played games with the kids. The pizza was out of this world so good! The garlic knots were awesome! Can’t say enough about every aspect of this great restaurant! If you’re looking for a great spot look no further! We will be going back again for breakfast and maybe even lunch! Thanks Alpine for starting us off right!
