Had brunch menu, egg sandwich. Picture below was before a nice warm glob of cheese was scrapped from a half wheel by the server. Delish sandwich. The roasted potatoes were surprisingly amazing with its salted crispy thin skin and buttery soft mashed potato consistency in the middle, even to the end. I would go back just for the potatoes.

Food was really amazing and very good…I highly recommend the lamb rib. it’s excellent. my only issue with the place was the lack of room. too many tables and not enough room to move around comfortably…and the tables themselves seem small..but the food was great.

The transient nature of the Greenport restaurant scene can leave you surprised to find gems like Alpina seemingly appearing out of nowhere. Regardless of where they came from, this crew is a welcome addition with an authentic yet imaginative take on European fare. Will be one of my first stops next time I’m in town… here’s to hoping they last that long.
