Out of all the coffee shops I’ve tried in utah, alpha coffee has the best americano yet. The espresso is not sour or bitter, just a lovely warm roast that pairs great with any milk (I get oat). Not only the coffee, the views are just as beautiful.

Super cool spot, amazing ambiance, clean, profesional, and fun, not an easy combo, and there’s nice views, it’s the neighborhood community cafe! Coffee is better than almost all the other shops, for sure the best in the neighborhood, and I’m a super particular barista myself 🙂 Overall it’s my daily hangout place to get work done. The team is cool, the tall guy with poofy hair has super good order taking skills, always has a good vibe. I think named Chris, not sure. Charly i remember was kind, almost always it’s a pleasure to order from whoever! Drinks are pretty consistent, I love the iced honey Badger, and breakfast croissant sandwiches.

Alpha Coffee at Big Cottonwood has amazing coffee and food, but it’s more than that. You will be served by a uniquely joyful group of people. Chloe and the crew make amazing latte art, and I have a large collection of photos of their latte artwork now. I try to come here every morning, and on days where I have to get my coffee somewhere else I truly miss it. If you begin your day at Alpha Coffee you are guaranteed a great day.

Josh was very nice & patient with us. Asked for my drink 1/2 sweet & told me to let them know if it’s good enough for me. GREAT customer service & outstanding coffee. Will be back when I come back to Utah.

The coffee is amazing and the mountain views take your breath away! The parking can be difficult but that’s because it’s very popular. In addition to the coffee, they have unique foods to atack your taste buds. Awesome selections to cure your hunger!

I’ve gone to Alpha Coffee at least 20+ times and EVERY time my iced caramel macchiato is made right. The coffee tastes high quality. The cafe is always clean and has a nice vibe. The employees are always nice and you aren’t waiting in line for long. This location has an amazing view of the mountains through large windows. So if you want great coffee with a view, then this is your place. As a veteran, I wanted to say thank you for supporting deployed troops and that your mission is not unseen 🙂

Stayed nearby for a week while enjoying all the powder in the Canyons. Visited here because of the reputation and was not disappointed. They roast their own beans and have both blends and single-origins available. The coffee is good. The espresso drinks are done well. They had a lot of young blood working behind the counter so I was dubious, but every espresso drink I had benefited from a well-pulled shot; flavorful and unburnt, and the drinks balanced well. I really enjoyed the standard mocha. Everything was clean and there was more space than I expected; there were some big windows through which to enjoy a view of the Wasatch mountains. It can get busy and parking can be tight, but it’s a worthy stop.
