My wife is a chef and it’s always so hard to take her out to eat.

I’d consider a name change. No aloha or hospitality whatsoever and that’s what makes Hawaiian food. It’s an experience. Had I not had my toddler with me and was looking down the whole time, I would’ve walked right back out. Looks like the health inspectors completely skipped over this place for the last decade or so. Food is ok but I felt bad feeding my husband this and my little one the musubi (didn’t feed to her) considering it had very obviously just been sitting.. Used to be a great place to eat at years ago but today unfortunately had to be our last.

I came in at 2pm and the cook looks back at me and stated he’s not taking any more orders keep in mind they close at 730pm he was very rude about it and I didn’t appreciate treating myself along with a few other customers that walked in I asked him why he was not taking anymore orders and he didn’t have an answer for me and if this guy is not the owner of this place he definitely needs to be fired because he’s costing the restaurant money turning away customers who once enjoyed coming to this restaurant

Super generous portions large enough for a construction worker, hard working electricians or lumberjack men who burn up 3000 to 4500 calories per day. I had much left over to carry home. The attached photo shows how much was left after I was satiated. I had the shrimp and pulled pork and macaroni salad and two rice balls. Too much for this old man but maybe perfect portions for you.

Such great food for prices that look like they haven’t changed in years! The mac salad, loco moco, and spam musubi were all on point! The owner was such a cool dude, enthusiastic about his food and happy to see us. 100% recommend to fix that Hawaiian craving!

Food is good. Chef (Owner?) was kind. Fast service. However the place is filthy, as if not cleaned in 1yr. Junk sitting everywhere. Just order to go

This place is foul to say the least. Walked in and should have left immediately. Not a single person in the restaurant. The floors are filthy, the entire restaurant smells terrible. Dust on every surface, mold on window seals. We ordered despite my initial reaction. As I sat there watching the owner prepare our food in the filthy kitchen, I read other reviews of the same experience, many of which said they got food poisoning. I can certainly see how. Food looked terrible, nothing near authentic Hawaiian, thrown together. Took him less than 5 minutes to prepare 5 orders. Despite paying, we took our food to go and promptly threw it away, eating nothing but the cost. Avoid this place.
