Quite literally some of the best food I have ever had, no exaggeration. It was so flavorful, and extremely unique. I got the salt steak bowl with jasmine rice and loved it, along with sangria! Wonderful service and will be coming back for sure

This place is a HIDDEN GEM✨. It has the the best ceviche in town and possibly all of Florida. We live just down the street and it’s by far our favorite restaurant. The food is consistently incredible (notably the ceviche, tacos, chimi churri, and pork chops) and the staff are so lovely and the atmosphere is so cozy and laid back. It’s family run and the food is so authentic – Selva doesn’t hold a candle to this place!

Fantastic food and service. The watermelon and tuna appetizer was refreshing and delicious. The octopus was one of the best I’ve had in the US, but not quite as good as in Portugal. Slightly less tender, but extremely flavorful and delicious. The pork belly was crisp and wonderful, and the poke bowl was fantastic. Not there cheapest meal I’ve had, but one of the best for fairly contemporary fusion cuisine, and one of my favorites in Sarasota. Also, next to Trader Joe’s, so you can cross that off your list after the meal!

Absolutely 5 Stars!!! Some of the most delicious dishes I have ever had. The severing staff was amazing. We were treated with the utmost respect. The food came out of the kitchen with no wait at all. Every dish had amazing flavors and left the taste buds wanting more. Thank you to all of the staff for such a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely return for more.

Love this place around the corner from me. Relaxed atmosphere, super-friendly owners and staff. Not cheap but everything is fresh and GOOOOOD. Lots of ceviche choices. The octopus carpaccio is fantastic. They even have a stellar burger, and I’m not a huge burger fan. Great craft brews as well. Dine inside, dine on the patio, sit at bar, pick up for home…can’t go wrong here. NOTE: previously named Darwin Evolutionary Cuisine but same owners, same everything else.

What can I say?! I’m sorry I didn’t dine here sooner. The meals were amazing, the ambiance was a delightful change, the owners were there as a whole family, the service was on point and everyone cared and was so attentive and genuinely cared about our experience, the murals were so colorful, the tastes of each dish were intentional and authentic! Flavorful food beautifully presented! We tried a variety of dishes, and enjoyed each of them. My ten-year-old daughter didn’t think she would enjoy any of the “gourmet” offerings, but she loved the chicken wings and parmesan papas (fries)! The chimichurri skirt steak and the prawns were delicious. The chorizo is not fooling around (quite hot). Our server was very nice as well. We enjoyed the murals on the walls and the music as well.

This is my first time in Sarasota I was looking for Peruvian food and I found this place. Since the moment I read the menu and saw the photos online I knew it was gonna be good. We sat at the bar the service was really good,friendly people they were telling us about how the restaurant start and everything. The food was one of the best meals I had in a long time so definitely recommended! I tried before some others Peruvian restaurants in USA but sometimes you feel like something is missing maybe because it’s hard to get all the spices and ingredients but last night I felt like I was in Peru the decorations are also beautiful, elegant and nice jungle paints on the wall.
