Went for breakfast at 8:20. Guy with a tissue hanging out of his nose opened doors and let us in. Red flag that no one was waiting to get in. Brought us chips and salsa. Ordered a bacon and a sausage burrito with coffees. Brought out 2 bacon burritos. No napkins or silverware. Brought out coffees and 2 spoons. Just put them on table. Wife had to go get creamer from another table. $30 for 2 bacon breakfast burritos and 2 coffees. Didn’t come with green chili or smothered or anything. Just a tortilla full of fries, a few pieces of bacon, like 1 egg and a pinch of cheese. We got halfway and gave up as they were very dry. Let my wife have the little bit of salsa from the chips to choke some of her incorrect order down with. Sad thing was we were only ones in there and once food was placed, the gentleman disappeared.

Delicious, Mexican comfort food! Staff were so friendly and on-point with service. I got two chicken enchiladas in corn tortillas with both their green and red sauce, and it was very filling. Their chips and salsa were awesome, and I highly recommend the house margarita blended (it’s very drinkable!) They are really doing a great job renovating the space. It is a fun vibe- very clean and open, decorated with furniture from Mexico. I am happy to have a restaurant in Laramie that I am actually excited to support and eat at again. Five stars, all the way around! Oh, the guacamole is so creamy, so freakin’ tasty!

Family run and delicious! Authentic food delivered in a warm, fun atmosphere. Spacious restaurant too in an historic building. We ate there for the first time two days ago and are back today… even my ridiculously picky 5yo is happy! Definitely my new favorite place in Laramie 🙂

Coming from Riverton, Wyoming my husband and I stopped at Laramie to get breakfast. We decided to have breakfast at San Luis Mexican restaurant. I ordered a Barbacoa taco, a bowl of Menudo (which is only available on Saturdays and Sundays, while hubby ordered the Chicharone with egg Burrito and a side of bacon. Hubby loved his breakfast and so did I. Hubby thinks that the menudo bowl is very good and I would have to agree. The meat it very tender and the soup flavorful. If you ever get to visit Laramie, which is a beautiful quaint town. and if you are craving Mexican restaurant this is a must place to visit.

The watermelon margarita was amazing! I ordered a pupusa and unfortunately was not impressed. It was burnt on one side. I had to take off the burnt part. I told the cashier and all she said “ok”. My husband’s food had a hair. The atmosphere and salsas were great.

Very authentic place in a nice downtown location. It’s a good place to eat if you’re looking for a pretty quick meal too. Their service is relatively fast, although it can sometimes be a little slow. But the waiters are very nice. The decor and furniture are very authentic and the food is as well.

This place was really phenomenal. The staff was lovely, the salsa bar was a highlight, and they specially made me a vegan burrito (best I’ve had in a while!) I’ll be recommending it to everyone and coming back soon!

Ordered a California burrito, though I do believe the definition of a Cali should be; carne asada, fries, pico de Gallo, guacamole, sour cream. They only had potato’s, carne or pollo, sour cream, so i added the remainder to be more like my hometown San Diego county Cali. Also ordered a bean rice cheese burrito ($9 lol), and another burrito. Bean rice cheese came with our rice .
