Our family had a wonderful (albeit very snowy) experience up at Allie’s Cabin! The ride up and back was very cold, and like many reviewers I have to recommend that you dress warmly in winter and plan for a potentially snow-covered (wet) seat on your sleigh. However, the whole thing was totally worth it!

Delicious dinner three courses for the kids salmon tartar was great as was tenderloin. Calamari delicious. Lamb was super tender. Also the ride up and down was really fun but really cold dress very appropriately I did not but the view was worth it

We loved the entire experience. The food was phenomenal from start to finish. Highly recommend the bison bolognese and lasagne. The children’s menu is steep at $60 for a three course tasting but you can order from the main menu for half of that. Great wines at reasonable prices and our waitress Amy was so warm and attentive. The staff even got us a seat at the fire after dinner to enjoy a glass of wine by. Jerry was the sleigh driver and made it super fun for the whole family – the oversized jackets were dry and kept the whole family warm.

The sleigh staff was wonderful – friendly and helpful, despite the heavy snow on our ride up. The restaurant experience was a bit of a let down. There was no real urgency for seating our party, getting a server over to address our party, get water and drinks out, etc. Ditto with trying to get service back to the table to end our meal, receive the bill and pay it.

We visited this time last year and loved our experience so much that we wanted to Do it again with our kids. We drove an hour to experience it with them. It was my husband’s late birthday dinner and I made sure I put that in the reservation as a surprise for him. The waiter had no idea because she wasn’t informed by the front. Our food was terrible. I ordered a medium well steak and it was bleeding on the inside and the dish was cold. 3 other people ordered the half chicken. Colorado must grow some tiny chickens because it was more like a 1/4 of a chicken breast. Our dinner was definitely not worth $350. The kids menu was a 3 course meal for $60! They don’t even have 3 course meals for adults so why offer it for kids?? The water girl was one of the only good parts of our experience. You should also really equipped the guy on the sleigh with the proper equipment so guests could actually enjoy the ride. He was great but the ride was miserable. Maybe have some dry blankets for him to change out every couple of rides. It’s crazy how something that should’ve been so magical turned out so awful. We will never be back.

Wouldn’t recommend Allie’s cabin. Didn’t start well as they said be here 5.45pm sharp, but then kept us waiting 20 minutes. It had been snowing and staff didn’t brush down the “sleigh” seats, so we got wet bottoms. Food all had to much oil and was overpriced for very small servings. Restaurant staff were helpful and friendly & atmosphere good, but I wouldn’t go back.

Service was good, but food quality was mixed. Starters were fine, but the $92 x’mas special truffle hen and the Ravioli main courses were outright tragically bad, while the Bison Bolognese was decent. I thought it was me, then I saw the next table asking for the manager, while leaving most of their dishes unfinished. I did not ask for manager and still gave good service tips simply because it’s Christmas.

Our second annual visit was unfortunately nothing like the quality of last year. Too many things to detail out other than to say slow service, mistakes with food orders, lesser quality dishes, overpriced children’s menu. Seemed like poor management leading to poor execution.
