We went for dinner on a Friday. It was busy but we got a table for two right away. It was loud place and hard to have a quiet conversation. We both ordered the sirloin steaks. When the waiter brought our food it was wrong so the plates went back. Then it was taking forever. Waiter explained to someone else got our plates AGAIN. The nice part was we didn’t have to pay for our dinners. Good thing because I asked for Med/Rare and my steak was so done I could hardly cut it. It was a bad 1st experience and will not go back.

I had heard good things but unfortunately we did not see them. Went on a Sunday afternoon when you would expect the church crowd and within a few minutes of arrival we were the only customers. Still we had to wait forever for our food, get crappy service and ask for multiple things that were supposed to be included with the meals. My wife’s medium well steak came out very bloody, she asked if they could heat it up a little longer, 20 minutes later she got a new steak that was over done and like eating leather. They even asked her if she wanted it to go because they took so long everyone else was finished.

Stop in at 6:00 told me that are wait would be around 40 minutes. We had 5 people They said that we had to wait for a group to finish. Around 7:00 hostess said that they we’re finished. so we waited. Should have went to Texas road House. Finally got taken to a booth that seats 4. No place for food on table with drinks there. Asked to move staff finally put 2 tables and chairs together for us. Got food around 8:00 . probably will not go back. Service was terrible.

Saturday night during the dinner rush. Two spots at an otherwise full bar, we took them both. Single bartender way overwhelmed. Sat there for ten minutes before even being *acknowledged* by the bartender. Two more minutes after that, still no drinks, or even being asked what we wanted, no menus, nothing. We walked out.

We had a wonderful meal! Two steaks, tuna and alfredo pasta. Everyone was greatly pleased. The dinner salads were excellent also. No room for dessert as the portions were quite large. Definitely going back.

All in all, if you ate here a few months ago than you will see much of the same now. I’m not sure if it changed owners when it changed names but from what I remember of the last place this was like deja-vu.

From the moment we walked into this place it was a disaster. You have to wait to be seated..and no one is anywhere to be found where you are to “wait to be seated” several minutes after walking in the door. One of the servers seats us, doesn’t greet us , lays down our silverwear and menus with a forced “here” come out of her mouth. We get our water shortly After however good luck getting a refil . Had to wait a good 5-10 minutes and this place had hardly anybody there. We order our food and our side salads took 15 minutes to come out, bread wasn’t done until we had the salad for 10 minutes. Food was done 5 minutes within getting the salad. The waitress was something else-she slammed the bread down at the front of the table and storms off to god knows where. Don’t come here. Go to McDonald’s or just stay in. This place is not gonna last.

Visited Friday 7/20/18 around 7 pm. We were acknowledged quickly and was seated at a nice window table in the bar area. Just a couple of minutes passed and the bar tender came to get our drink order. We told her about the diet we were on and gave her our drink and food order….she automatically knew that we did not want bread/butter. About 40 – yes 40, minutes later we get our orange roughy fish with broccoli and a steak salad. The fish was good but the broccoli was mushy. The steak salad came with fries pilled on it…..she must have forgot about the diet we mentioned. It took several minutes for another waitress to get us a plate to put the fries on….. The salad most mostly iceburg lettuce with a few slices of cucumber, a slice of onion, an egg, a few bacon bits…..the steak was cook good and tasted well. I left almost all the lettuce… Store was dated but clean. The restrooms were ok but needed cleaned. Overall our experience was fair but was hoping for a little better experience.

I enjoyed the country fried steak, excellent service and reasonable prices. In Texas, cream gravy belongs on the steak, not Brown gravy . It was still very good. Although there is a bar, not my choice, it is set off from the dining room.
