This was our first time since the new ownership. The staff were so friendly and treated us like family! Breakfast was delicious! Breakfast is served all day! We ran into people we knew so the atmosphere was welcoming! We are ready to go back and try lunch and dinner! You need to go try it out!

Great local place for a meal. Ms. Sylvia is so sweet and great to chat with. All in all, together we had ribeye steak, fried shrimp, country style steak over rice, coleslaw, fried okra, fried squash & hushpuppies. Everything was great! (Didn’t even need the steak sauce).

Had a bad experience because it was the last day they were open as Allen’s Restaurant. They didn’t have much of anything to serve. While we were there they had to close the doors because they ran out of food. Hopefully the new leasers will be able to keep up with reputation Allen’s had before they closed.

If you are a steak lover , try this place on Thursday night & eat one of the best ribeye steaks you will ever taste . Cooked perfectly per your choice , juicy , flavorful. succulent. Allen’s also offers breakfast, lunch , and a Sunday buffet lunch . Casual , clean , family place where the folks are friendly and helpful .

Our first time stopping in. Nice variety on the menu. Very helpful, attentive, pleasant server. Great food. Good portions. We got a cheeseburger and fries and a hamburger steak covered in onions with fries and a salad. Tiny salad bar but had the basics. Fresh. Will def stop in again when in the area. (40 minutes from us-had to take care of some business) May even make a special trip!
