Been going to this place for years. It’s been good but now it’s better with a new owner. The cook is still the same, probably 30 years. He’s been working there. They got a little rundown but now it’s cleaned up fresh paint and they’ve added a few new items to the menu. Overall really good food.

From the moment you walk in Oscar makes you feel right at home. This place is super chill and simple. You come for the food and ease of everything. It’s always fun to pile your bowl high to thr sky before it is thrown down on the hot iron open skillet and cooked to perfection. You even put on plastic gloves so you can smash your meat down and really load it in. The last part I needed help with was piling the noodle on which appeared to be some type of lost art that Oscar mastered. The lunch comes with soup, wontons, and bread. You can linger, get in and out fast or carry out. I took home enough for another meal with my leftovers buy my male companion (and the many others in the room) didn’t seem to have that luxury as it was all gone. Easy and plentiful free parking. Beer and soda are available and an upbeat attitude.

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years now. The ownership recently changed, but the food quality, flavor, and ambiance are even slightly better than before—but the bar was already very high. One of my favorite spots in Ventura County.

We have eaten here several times since the original owners took back over this year. It has been a fantastic experience every time. Oscar, the manager, has been with the group for years. He actually opened the other Mongolian BBQ restaurant down in Camarillo.

All you can eat Mongolian BBQ for $18.95 a person. The options are huge and I definitely got my moneys worth. A lot of different meats to choose from, some of which include imitation crab, beef, pork, and chicken. They also have a large variety of vegetable toppings. My favorite is the baby corn and the water chestnuts. I had to ask for help on the sauces because there were so many and I didn’t know what I was doing but it tasted delicious. The dinner includes soups, breads, and wontons as well. We met the owner and he was very welcoming and friendly. The only downside is their air conditioning is currently broken, but they had fans set up all over the place and I felt comfortable. Can’t wait to come back.

I just found this place after living in Thousand Oaks for most of my life. It is under new management and said they are going to update the place. I thought the food was amazing and the staff very personable. I definitely recommend eating here.

My favorite Mongolian BBQ around. I have been coming here for 10+ years. Old management was great, new management is great. An excellent place to try something new or to get the classic mix. 11/10
