As a trucker, I enjoy venturing away from the franchise restaurants and looking for the mom n pops. This place did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 will be back next time I’m passing through. I’ve never been to Italy so I can not vouch for authenticity, but I’ve been to many places claiming to be authentic, and this one is delicious. Oh BTW I did marry an Italian woman, so I might have a little idea of what an authentic Italian dish tastes like.

We were traveling home from Missouri and stopped in this little place. The other good reviews brought us in. Great food! And the staff was super friendly. We got a half pizza and we ended up taking most of it home for just 2 us. Very reasonably priced as well.

We are from Ottawa, Illinois. This was our first time here, but it won’t be our last. It was my husband and grandkids and myself. Matt was our server, and he was wonderful! Very kind young man. I only gave 4 stars due to my preference. The pizza needed a little more sauce. I did ask for a side of sauce, and it’s very good. Mike, the owner I’m assuming, was very welcoming and kind!! He brought us some dessert and it was so very good. Overall everything was absolutely wonderful.

We had a large group of family all staying in the hotel for my nephew’s graduation party. This place was very good for getting a large amount of food to feed all the family members for not a crazy amount of money. They had pretty good pizza and salad. The Alfonzo bits were pretty good too. If you order that 18″ x 24″ pizza you need to order a hour early so they can have it done on time.

The pizza is truly authentic. Sweet sauce, and fennel Italian sausage. Great chew and pull on the cheese. Wings are presented naked and sauced. Not noticeably greasy. Salad is tremendously crisp and tangy with sweet Italian dressing. Joe B is a personable waiter and very attentive. 10/10

It’s always been the most unique, amazing pizza. Tonight we had a server named Matt who was just so on top of it. Serving a big party of idiots like us moving around and ordering out of turn is tough and he just nailed it. Could not be happier. Really great service is so rare and we’re grateful.

My first impression was that the owner runs the restaurant in excellent fashion. The service was impeccable, the food was filling and tasty, the place was vibrantly busy with happy patrons, and the establishment despite being an older place was kept clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and will return myself next visit to Troy.
