Very nice atmosphere. Extremely comfortable chairs. Service was impeccable. Food was good. A few bites of the steak were grisly. Empenadas had a good flavor. Parking was a little hard to find so come a few minutes early. They told us Michigan was your best bet. They have some very interesting pasta dishes I would be interested in trying next time. Would recommend. In a very cute area.

The hostess was so pleasant and friendly. She seated my son and me in a cute alcove that was so comfortable! Our waitress, Coco, was incredible! She knew everything about the menu and brought the sommelier over when I asked about a “spicy ” wine. He proceeded to bring 3 wines to taste!! How wonderful. I was completely overwhelmed with friendliness. I felt taken care of!!

The professionalism and attention to detail was so refreshing! The portions were perfect and perfect for ordering many things for the table to share. Yes the food and the reviews are as good as they say. The beet salad was the overall favorite, I contemplated getting another for us at the end if we kept chatting. They were incredibly gracious to my tired kids and if I know anyone visiting Cincinnati, I will surely recommend Alfio’s!

For starters, this place has a really unique menu — I can’t say I’ve seen an Italian/Aregentinian mix anywhere else before, and several dishes caught my eyes. Our server was awesome and very helpful/insightful. The pistachio crusted salmon was amazing — perfectly cooked salmon and that smooth squash was a perfect pairing. The pasta rustico sauce had a good balance of richness and lightness, and it was an all-around good dish. I’m in love with their dessert menu. I wanted to try everything, but guess I’ll have to come back for more. There’s several “famous” dishes here, from the raviolis to the desserts. Alfio’s is a lovable spot for a nice occasion, and they get my recommendation!

Food needs more seasoning. I had the new York strip with mashed potatoes and long stem broccolini. My friend had chicken parm. Also tried the hibiscus margarita which was good (pink drink) . The empanadas were amazing!

One of the best restaurants in the Cincinnati area. Homemade pasta and desserts. If you can’t decide on what to eat try the ravioli duos, you can try two different types of pasta. Try to save room for desserts. The Carmel Apple bread pudding is a must try.

Service was great, everyone was kind and attentive. We got the center cut filet and risotto. Steak was quite perfect but the chicken with the risotto was bland. We also enjoyed the empanadas – some unexpected but yummy combinations. Overall a good experience, but not exceptional.

We had a dinner reservation for Saturday evening. We showed up a little early, so we ordered a drink (great bourbon/wine selection) prior to being seated. We started with a bottle of Malbec and the empanadas. For the main course we ordered the short rib/gnocchi and the skirt steak. Both were fantastic!! We ended with the apple bread pudding and the chocolate moda antica cake (took home, lol!). Excellent food, service and atmosphere!! Highly recommended!
