Alex’s is one of the top three greatest beefs (three-way of course) I’ve ever had, and my partner and I both grew up on the Northshore and have tried every roast beef shop in the area. The beef was tender, the sauce was flavorful, and the bun was soft and slightly buttered. We’ve resolved to make a point of visiting this hidden gem every time we travel up north.

Greek salad for $10 was a huge disappointment. 100% iceberg lettuce, big white chunks of it, no onions, and two tiny black olives.

Absolute joke, worst pizza I have ever eaten. Cheese wasn’t even melted and no Buffalo sauce on the Buffalo finger pizza. And don’t even get me started on the BBQ chicken pizza, I took one bite and spit it out. Who puts James River on a BBQ chicken pizza with pizza sauce too!?!?!? Wouldn’t even feed this trash to my dog. 0/10

You need to serve better salad it’s disappointing when you pay $15 for a salad made of iceberg lettuce and few other ingredients. You need a better salad mix and don’t be cheap about it

Great roast beef, Buffalo chicken finger sub, and the fries/onion rings don’t disappoint. I have preferred to go here over THOP since Alex’s opened. Great family!

Meh, ordered steak n cheese w mushrooms. Dry. Dry, dry. No flavor and hardly no cheese. Gross. Tons of meat but , it was meh. Baklava also no flavor.. itt pro does ok here due to being the only place in a small town. But put this side by side in a city and they would be out of business in a year..

Most amazing roast beef sandwiches on the planet!! Wish there was a location on the South Shore, but it is worth the drive.

They have awesome pizza! The crust is just right and it has lots of cheese. This time I had chicken fingers and fries, which also were great.

Food was good I had A salad with LAMB. And My Niece Had RostBeef. My only complaint was there was NO HEAT IN THE RESTROOM AND IT WAS FREEZING IN THERE THE WINDOW WAS ALSO OPEN.
