Very popular place in Peoria! They do get very busy around 6. We went last week with a big group. The servers were great. They made sure all 16 of us was taken care of. The steak was average, but it was very juicy. It needed more seasoning. I do like the feature of the salad bar and that you can choose how much or how little you want. I would suggest that the Texas toast come with a garlic spread/ butter on it.

Just celebrated our grandson graduating dinner at Alexander Steak House with a party of 30+. Had several waitress and waiters. We were well served and our food and drinks were on point! Will continue to eat here in the future. Great job to the whole staff!

Steak was fantastic. Salad bar has a variety of everything and was great. The calamari tasted awesome and didnt feel super greasy like some other places have theirs. Honestly, a great place to go to with family or for an event. Would highly recommend!!!

Was there with my husbands work family. Around 30 of us I am guessing. We had never been there before since we traveled from Indiana. It was nice and clean. Smelled amazing and everyone was nice. Our waiter was amazing. He was on top of everything. All of the food was incredible. The salad bar had everything you could want and more. And I don’t think I have ever had a more perfectly cooked and tasty steak ever. I can’t give any info on pricing as we did not pay, but I’m assuming it is a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for. The experience all around is worth it. If you have the opportunity, definitely go.

Our server was good. The salad bar was just okay, I honestly don’t understand why people make such a big deal about it. The steak tasted like nothing, it was so bland I couldn’t eat it. If I was expected to cover it in sauce I would’ve just eaten steak at home. My guess is back in the day people dressed nice to go here and it was probably a wonderful place but not anymore. Like many places they use their past success and let quality slide over time.

Went there for a group dinner of 150 people. Food was great; serve was great atmosphere was amazing. I love how they use the old building and made it into a steakhouse. You can also grill your own but since we were there as a group, that was not possible. But 2 thumbs up for Alexander’s Steakhouse!

We came here for a catered welcome function. I was incredibly disappointed. My medium steak was delivered dry and well done. The server seemed to slap the food on the table and did not seem to care very much about providing quality service. Our menu and process was very different from the other patrons. I hope that was the reason from such a dissatisfying experience.
