After spending a day at the zoo in Cameron, NC, me and my wife decided we wanted to try out a Mediterranean restaurant. It was a Sunday around 5:00 pm, so she googled and found some restaurants, but after looking at pictures and reviews we decided to wait until we got closer to Raleigh. She then noticed Alexander’s Mediterranean Cuisine that was in Garner, NC which was close to us. The outside looks average but, after entering the door we found a surprise. The restaurant was nicely dimmed with white cloth tables with candles. The atmosphere was very nice and calming. The food was a little on the expensive side but absolutely worth it. I had grouper with lump crab meat and asparagus on pasta with a white wine sauce and my wife had ratatouille. The waiter’s name was Michael ànd he was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable of the entrées and ingredients. The service was impeccable and we are definitely going back. Michael mentioned to us that they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays and we should call and reserve on those nights. Me nor my wife had any complaints or concerns about this restaurant. The chef is also the owner, which signifies to me how important the dishes that he creates and serves to his customers. They get an A+ from me!!

I’ve had plenty of mediterranean food but Alexander’s is one of the best restaurants in Garner. First dish(picture below) is Salmon stuffed crab cake over creamy gluten free pasta and vegetables on the side. Second dish(second picture below) is grouper over orzo in cream spinach and vegetables in the side. So YES I definitely recommend Alexander’s if your a lover of mediterranean food.

Went here for a lunch- the food was good and I was able to have a cup of soup rather than fries. It took a very long time to get the check after being brought a To-go box and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. The servers wear all black and it is meant to be a finer dining option.

What a gem! My goal was to grab a quick gyro from a Greek restaurant close to I40. I WAS SHOCKED when I entered this place. The decor was both tasteful and luxe. My business associate ordered chicken slovaki, and I ordered the gyro plate. We also ordered bruschetta. I was truly delighted with the presentation of each dish. The lamb was simply exquisite-best I have ever had. The service was phenomenal. The price is reasonable (honestly low) for what you get in the experience. I’d give it 6 stars if Google would let me.

Overall good experience. Some (like me) may find the lunch prices a bit higher than the average $10-12 lunch, but after we tasted the food, I believe the price was reasonable. The food felt authentic and delicious, I was told the owner is the Chef, so he/she obviously care for their business. At first I felt the menu was pretty limited, but then realized that was just the lunch menu and looked at their dinner menu which also looked delicious. Service was good, some waitresses were faster than others, so it did take a while to get our tab. My wife and I will return for a delicious dinner meal. The dinner prices looked a bit high, but I’m sure it will be worth every penny. I recommend this place!

The food was delicious! However, it is way overpriced here. Expect to pay $13 for 4 grape leaves appetizer… no thank you. Again, great tasting food but too expensive when I can go down the road and pay much less for similar quality. The atmosphere is nice but almost feels as if they are trying TOO hard to be “fancy.” Kinda gives it a cheap feeling. The service was great, the waiter was knowledgeable, however one of the items we ordered was forgotten by the waiter and we had to remind him after some time. All in all it was a good experience but felt like an idiot when the bill arrived…

This is our go to place for the best gyros around. Tried the lobster ravioli last night and it did not disappoint!

Great food, and upon entering the establishment you’ll forget you’re in a strip mall. Very nice decor and the service is great, but the items are a bit pricey. Despite the high prices the quality of the food speaks for itself and is worth it if you’re feeling like getting a really nice meal.

Very nice restaurant. Have been here several times. We went for our Valentine’s Day dinner. Menu is diverse and pleasing. I, had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, with fresh mushrooms, spinach and artichoke. Our waiter was so nice and very attentive. Only improvements. I could suggest are use cloth, table cloths, not paper. And have a darker more cozy atmosphere inside. Its too bright for a romantic evening. Bathrooms need updating and cleaning. All in all a good place.
