We loved our recent experience at Alcamo! We were here once before, 9 years ago, and then we moved closer to another BYOB, Bella’s. When they closed, we tried out their replacements in Hellertown, but were sadly disappointed. We finally returned to Alcamo and it felt like eating at Bella’s all over again. Delicious Italian food with very large portions. The garlic bread is the best ever! The atmosphere is casual, but that makes it more family friendly and the menu is extensive from sandwiches, pizza or pasta dishes. My husband loved the calamari. He ordered the tortellini carbonara, but upgraded to a pink vodka sauce; he loved it and I tried it as well, very delicious. I ordered the veal scallopini, but with chicken instead of veal. I was overwhelmed with how delicious my dish was. We didn’t have room for dessert and brought home leftovers. I plan to return soon and bring my family along with me! Oh and our server Paige was amazing!

Nice outdoor patio and cozy indoor dining. Clean bathrooms with full soap dispensers. . Can see the kitchen and it looks clean too. Friendly service. Great pizza. We very much enjoyed our visit.

Ordered takeout… got a turkey hoagie with a single layer of turkey on it… what a rip off. I got a full salad with the smallest amount of protein between bread. The cheese was thicker than the turkey. Will not be wasting my money here again.

Food was ok but nothing special…I ordered a coffee and got a dirty small cup half full. I asked for a refill and was charged $6.50 for two half cups of low quality coffee.

Wonderful service and friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. I had Eggplant Parm Wrap, which was to die for! Food was hot, fresh and served quickly. Will definitely return!

My coworkers and I usually order on Sunday’s. The food and service are usually pretty good, but last night, I ordered the Alcamo hoagie with a side of fries. My fries were forgotten. When I called back to have them delivered (it was a pick up order), they wanted to charge me for another order of fries after they were already paid for. Why would I pay for another order when they forgot my first order?!!

I’ve been following this owner since he had a restaurant in Hellertown. The location may be different for me, but the quality and service are just as I remember and expected. Very generous portions and incredible flavor, from the garlic knots to the pasta to the Sicilian pizza. Molto bene!!

A regular visit when I’m in town. I always bring my family here. The food is always good and the service excellent. You have to try the angel hair in pesto with shrimp, scallops and mussels. The chef’s salad is too big to finish and pretty creative in presentation. All the basic and expected Italian meals are on the menu is a wide range of preparations.
