This isn’t my first time visiting this establishment, as I used to live relatively close. I decided that I wanted something quick and not carb-filled while in the middle of rush-hour traffic. I figured I could not go wrong with a nice gyro salad so I made a quick stop. The restaurant is connected to little grocery store where you can shop for Middle Eastern delight. It’s very nice to be greeted with a pleasant smile, customer interaction what’s a certified 10. Service was rapid as well 10 I guess my issue was with the quality of the food itself. On surface-level it was very aesthetically pleasing to look at, it had unusual weight to it so I know that they weren’t being stingy, off to a good start. It’s humongous salad came with one small container of tzatziki sauce for the amount of salad which I weighed and it was almost 2lbs. The salad also came with one pita bread. The salad itself had a nice taste, my issue with the salad is that the cucumber and tomatoes were over right, the olives were not pitted so if I wasn’t careful I probably would have broken a tooth and of the two lbs it’s was 1.75lbs of iceberg lettuce that I could do nothing with. Wow I did enjoy the customer experience I do not think I enjoyed my salad enough to return.

We went here because there was a recent episode of The Amazing Race involving stuffed grape leaves and souvlaki, so we just had to try those foods. They were incredibly flavorful and it was fun trying new things. The baklava was good as well.

So disappointed this place was always one of my favorite restaurants here in Indianapolis till yesterday I went there ordered 2 fried kibbie orders and other foods take out. I live 30 miles away. When I got home those kibbie’s were so dry, hard, old and stale. It was so bad it was awful. They end up going in the garbage. $16.00 to waste! And to my other disappointment the grocery store part overcharged me on bread when I looked at my receipt. If I didn’t order take out I would have caught all this while still in their stores. No more going back. They lost us as customers!!!

Got the lunch buffet at 2pm on a Saturday. Everything was delicious and worth the price. Good pieces of lamb and all the stews were excellent and not just cheap filler. The coconut cake was particularly good.

Ordered some meat and deli meat from the back cases. When I got home I saw that all the meat and deli meat was past its sell by date by 3-4 days. Please check your meat cases and remove items that are passed the sell by date. It’s dishonest to continue trying to sell items that might already be spoiled.
