I don’t usually write reviews, but the staff here is dishonest. After placing my order, I noticed there was a $2 “MISC FOOD” charge on my receipt. When I brought it up to the cashier, he paused for a little, then replied that “It was for the chips.” That would have been understandable if I had ordered chips. The last thing he asked me before completing my order was, “Would you like some chips, or anything else with your order?” To which I replied “No thank you.” I brought up that I did not order the chips. He didn’t offer to refund me for them, and then handed me a basket of chips. The misc food charge was in the middle of the receipt, so he added it before he even asked if I wanted chips. He was definitely just hoping I wouldn’t notice.

Our first time here seeing the patio not packed with people. This is a local favorite and we saw our chance to get in before the dinner rush. If I didn’t have to be somewhere later in the evening I would still be enjoying the good food and more drinks. Looks like every table complimented their food with the famous margarita pitcher or beer. I wish the beer was colder but may have been due to all the fixings that go into a Michelada that made it a little warmer then I’m used to. This looks like a mom and pop place and customers and owners all called everyone by name. Felt like I was eating at their family table. Will be back when I can spare a few hours to truly enjoy.
