Alaia Menu – Kahuku, HI

Type : Restaurant

Location : Kahuku, HI

Our island is full of stories, none more inviting than the one told by the dish in front of you. Known for its modern take on Hawaiian comfort fare, Alaia embraces the community through its support of nearby Mauka Farms, telling their story through every plate, bite, and sip. Using unique, native produce such as bread fruit, apple bananas, and tomatoes from Pele, a third generation farmer, our culinary team works in tune with the seasons.
At Alaia we reap the bounty from the mauka to the makai, working with hand-selected fruits and vegetables from our farm to your table. We let the quality and simplicity of the ingredients speak for themselves. And we love what they have to say.

We sat at the bar for “lite bites” & were so pleasantly surprised at the size of the portions! And the food was delicious as well. Also, the bartenders are fantastic- polite, engaging & provide excellent service too. HIGHLY Recommended

We had a great time and a delicious meal at Alaia. We started with a kampachi crudo that was very well seasoned and delicious, then had a lobster curry, which was very tasty, and finished with a creme brulee and a banana split drink. Service was good and the restaurant’s atmosphere is very elegant.

This is a very pleasant place with a romantic note. The service was present and fast. The «carbonara» was a revisited plate with schrimps. It was very fine and was worth its price.

What a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing. We got the sashimi and catch of the day and it was all prepared perfectly. Best focaccia bread I’ve ever had. And the drinks were so refreshing and delicious. Our waiter Thomas was wonderful and had great suggestions.

You really want to hate this breakfast buffet because it’s so expensive ($55 pp). But WOW. It is really really good. We’ve gone twice now and it’s been amazing both times. It would get 5 stars if coffee and soft drinks were included in the steep price tag.

Probably the nicest place to get breakfast, or any upscale meal on the North Shore.

Sat there for 20 min, no one came to see us. Asked for someone to come at the entrance, wait for another 5-ish minutes. Still nothing, not even water. Given the price on the menu, they should have a minimum of professionalism.
