The tacos were so delicious! I ordered green, black and pink al pastor and asada. The green and pink are unique to this location, they are the creation of the chef, I highly recommend trying all of them!, My two personal favorites are the black and green. But the pink is also very tasty. Beware that they have nuts in them.

I recently had the pleasure of discovering an incredible taco joint that truly deserves a 5-star rating. Nestled inside a convenience store, this authentic Mexican taco restaurant has managed to create a cozy and unique dining experience that transports you straight to the heart of Mexico.

I never leave reviews but I had to for this place. Meat is high quality and delicious and non greasy. Great portion sides and I he burritos are massive. This place is a Hidden gem. Absolutely best taco shop in SD. High quality, good portion sizes, good sizes. Want to keep it an secret but too damn good. I left a picture of my box lick clean, so damn good.

Legit al pastor tacos right off the trompo! The tacos come loaded with the right flavor, crunch, avocado, and tortillas. They have a variety of salsas and it definitely hits the al pastor spot.

I see “temporarily closed” and am really sad! Please don’t be closed!! Al Pastor Town is THE best place I’ve found in the area, some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had!

Amazing, authentic pastor tacos. It’s in a little liquor store, but the tacos are insanely good. I would drive way out of the way for these. Super nice guys and great service too!

Food was good. Good portions, salsa, quality meat. Unfortunately they only had about half the items they advertise. Took at least 20 minutes for a small to go order. Not much parking. It’s a kitchen inside a liquor store. Not exactly a place to go sit and eat.

Excellent food and service. All tacos are perfect not greasy. Try the surf and turf fries it is amazing, the whole family liked it. And the seafood taco ( Mar Y) is the best.

All 3 tacos we ordered: al pastor negros, al pastor pulpo, and al pastor roio were not only absolutely delicious -you could taste how bright and fresh the ingredients are- but they were packed with meat! They were also “plated” beautifully-the microgreens on top with the pickled red onions are a great, elevated touch! My husband also had the California burrito, which is something he has been looking for here in the States for 3 years, and he has yet to find, until tonight! This hole in the wall place is definitely worth a stop- wish I could give it six stars!
