We had fish curry and dry chilli chicken for dine-in and chicken kadhai for to go. The curry and the chilli chicken tasted okay, the quality of the fish was good though. The kadhai was very good.

Ordered vegetable biryani and received this unflavored turmeric and oils rice. It is very impressive how they managed to make this rice so flavorless!! All this has was overcooked rice, turmeric, oil and some vegetables scraps (not even enough salt)! If I could give 0 starts I would. Normal rice in other restaurants is more flavorful than this so called “vegetable biryani”

All these are recent pics all the old reviews of quality or biryani I would strongly suggest give this place another try now they have authentic Hyderabadi Dum style chicken biryani and Goat biryani . It was so good I dint take pics of those . But one of the pictures in my plate has Biryanis topped with fried chicken drumsticks and chicken bone in curry are my favorites including the snacks

Sampled the Chicken Pastry Puff, Samosa Veg, Samosa Chicken, Butter Chicken, and Goat Biryani. Everything was tasty and well prepared. The Butter Chicken portion is smaller than I expected. They also own the market next door where you can pickup fresh vegetables, dairy products, frozen items, meat, and freshly made Chicken Pastry Puff and Veggie Samosas at the register. I definitely will come back to try other items on their menu.

I tried piyaju, beguni and alu chop. Piyaju and beguni is not recommended at all. But their beef tehari, beef curry, and chicken curry is tasty. What I don’t like about this restaurant is that, they seemed so disorganized! It’s not like the price is cheap so their service is bad. They should maintain proper hygiene, and may be organize the restaurant a bit, so that people dining there may also enjoy a decent ambience?

Great food — with an impressive nuance of flavor. Recommend getting less common entrees. We ate in and had Shrimp Bhuna and Chicken Haleem. Came with seasoned rice, and we added Paratha and Chapati. Was very good – and the Bhuna was so flavorful. This is not fast food, and the care and labor that goes into this deserves patience and appreciation. What a treat to have this spot in RVA

We had a great experience yesterday. Bought a goat biriyani and mughlai paratha. Food was ready in 30-35 mins. It was burning hot. The biriyani had 4 good chunks of goat and a few small ones which were so tender. The rice was flavorful. One could easily feed 2 people. The mughlai paratha tasted good too, not too oily and felt comforting. Would visit more for sure!
