Al & Joe’s was recommended to us from a friend who lived in the area. We finally decided to try it out and we found our new spot. The staff were very welcoming and explaining everything to us, you can tell they enjoy what they do. The food as well is super delicious. We got the Herbie, American Sub, Oreo cheesecake, Reeses cheesecake and a toffee heath cookie! Can’t wait to go back. Definitely a must try place!

Did the park and stay at the Hampton Inn, was feeling really hungry so we decided in stop in for a sandwich, ordered two of the mile high corned beef sandwiches. They were absolutely amazing!! We both were ready to do the food walk of shame and go for two more sandwiches but our stomached wouldn’t let us. Service super friendly!!!

I ordered the mile high corned beef and 2 pizzas. The corned beef was excellent. The pizza looked good but the crust was burnt to hell and made it taste like garbage. The bottom of the pizza was black and hard as a rock. What was worse was that i had to wait for them to burn my pizzas. Im getting sick and tired of wasting good money on garbage food.

I stop here a couple times a month for a sammich. I work nearby and stop for lunch. The sandwiches and pizza are both good. The people that work there are nice and have never messed up an order. Everything I have had has been good and the same every time. The first time I ate there 10 years ago tastes exactly the same now. Highly recommend.

Been eating here for a lot of years. Three generations of us. Worked for railroad across tracks. Lunch was ready when we got there. Best sub sandwiches around. Love the corned beef, too. Always a quandary deciding which to get. Fresh ingredients makes the difference. Keep up the good work.

I’ve eaten here for close to 40 years,THE BEST ITALIAN SUBS hands down..the Herbie is the bomb,no one comes close. With that said very recently I noticed the quantity of meat in the SUBS has gone down,not stuffed like they used to be …also the spicy olives which are to die for has less spice and oil in the container. I will always stop here when in the area….and I recently moved 40 miles away. They still rock!
