Al Hamra is a family-owned business and has been serving the finest Mediterranean fusion cuisine since 2006. Our journey to provide the highest quality of food made with the freshest ingredients, and an altogether memorable experience for our guests began in sunny Redondo Beach, CA.
From coffee shop to kabob shop. Naseem Siddiqui, our founder, and CEO started out in a small café space and over the course of fifteen years, transformed it into a bustling kabob grill. The journey was not easy, but with the gracious support of our local community, we were able to attract new customers by word of mouth and of course, believing in the power of free samples.

Quite and peaceful restaurant. They have a really small sitting area. Lots of parking spaces. Food was good. We were expecting better but not too bad. The only thing we didn’t really like was lamb kabob. It was really hard to chow on. Other than that it was great. Excellent customer service as well.

So happy that this restaurant is finally open in our neighborhood! We ordered the meat combo for 2, which was a huge portion of perfectly cooked meats, fresh salad, a ton of rice, zippy sauces, and the best hummus I’ve ever had (with a generous helping of pita bread.) Absolutely phenomenal food and friendly staff, and was told that the menu is slowly rolling out and there is more to come. Cannot wait to go back!

My wife and I frequent the plaza this is located in and had been eyeing this place since we saw a sign saying a Mediterranean restaurant was moving in. We saw it was open randomly and ordered the meat combo for two. It was amazing. There were actually four types of meat (chicken, steak, gyro meat, and shredded chicken) all perfectly cooked and tender. The rice was good, the hot sauce and garlic sauce on point, and my wife told me in no uncertain terms that were not getting hummus at TJs anymore, as we’re now going to just order a large side of it here so we have it for the week. Great spot and so excited it’s here!
